White House chief of staff John Kelly has found himself on the outs with President Donald Trump, who reportedly has considered firing the retired general and notreplacing him.

Trump Invites Russian National Basketball Team to White House



WASHINGTON — One day after rescinding his invitation to the Golden State Warriors, Donald J. Trump invited the entire Russian national basketball team to celebrate with him at the White House.

Trump said that he looked forward to welcoming the Russian team, calling them

no, he makes awful points. he thinks we dont teach the bible because it triggers little atheist students. we don't teach the bible because the state is not allowed to endorse a religion.

christianity is very relevant in our world's history, and so we learn about its historical context. that's different than teaching scripture. having the state endorse religion would just be opening the door to sharia or its christian equivalent. dont care for a theocracy or anything resembling it. feel free to teach it to your children at home or drag them to church on sundays... but you cant cry to the government to do it for you.

i'm perfectly fine with the history of religion being taught. but public schools shouldn't be teaching religion. it's not the state's place, and its public funding going towards the teaching of religion. that's not going to fly... the first amendment would prevent it.

spanish isn't a religion, psychology isn't a religion, and journalism isn't a religion. i'm not really sure what an "atheism" class would be. atheism is the claim/belief that god doesn't exist. there's no scripture of atheism.
