Now, I don't know what will happen with Kawhi, but Ingram, Kuzma, Ball, Hart, and Randle looks a lot better than LMA (who will regress once his touches are taken away), Fatty Mills, and the old Universal Monsters crew right now

Those pieces won’t be with Kawhi if he’s traded...

Dude you guys can have him. Pay him 40 mill a season to sit on his ass and play 9 games all year. Please take him off our hands. Hopefully we can rip you off while we happily give you Kawhi.
These LA trolls are missing the point that they are about to want to have some Derrick Rose “the forward edition” on a supermax deal while giving us a pick and some young players. Basically all they have to show for a half a decade of tanking.

I would much rather Kiwi be healthy and to keep him but what it seems like is that he’s not going to be healthy. He can go to LA to not carry anybody there either... They won’t allow him to disappear to hide In NYC.

Kawhi is healthy he just doesn't want to play for your ty franchise and city. I don't blame him for that if I was in his situation I would like to get the out of Fat Antonio.

    Nah he’s not.
He’s a big time gamble at this point but should the Spurs want to trade him it helps that other teams believe his damaged ass is malingering...

Me too. Plus there's no player on the roster that's only there because of his Hispanic heritage!

Still ahead of the Lakers even with those two stinking it up.

    crofl

    Remember this?

I'll tell you what, we'll trade you LA instead of Kawhi for Kuzma, Ingram, Randle and that first round pick.

If Kawhi wants out, I seriously doubt the Spurs are going to trade him to the Lakers unless it's a huge haul that they really like.

But all he has to tell the league is that he won't resign anywhere but LA Lakers and then no one will trade for him or won't offer very much. If he doesn't have a shot at the supermax, Spurs have no leverage over him and he goes where he wants.

Even if he tries to pull that kind of move, there will still be other teams willing to take the chance because they believe they can convince him to re-sign anyway. See: OKC trading for Paul George.

Yup. It's a players league. If the Spurs don't trade him then Kawhi's camp will leak his trade request and his value will drop. If they even think of taking calls from bottom dwellers then Kawhi's camp will then leak he'll only sign an extension with ____ teams. So it's at the Spurs best interest to take calls now while they still can before he gets pissed and ruins what the Spurs can get in return.

True. I can see Milwaukee willing to take that risk. Giannis and Kawhi.

Still, Kawhi is better off there than wasting his time here with washed scrubs on fat contracts.

Yes, but look at the take that Indiana got for Paul George. At the time, it was considered a pittance. Olidipo wasn't considered a great player at the time.

The Pacers were about to get Gary Harris and a lottery pick for George on draft night until Pritchard backed out. He got lucky that Oladipo randomly decided to start giving a about his career this season. Otherwise, he would still be a laughingstock.

My point is that'll be the same conditions when RC tries to trade Kawhi after this year. The only option I see for the Spurs getting fair value for Kawhi is to take the risk and super max him. I can't imagine he'd turn down the Super max. But if he never plays again due to injury or at least if he misses another year or it becomes a problem that drops him from an MVP level, the Spurs will be screwed. If Kawhi plays like a supermax player next year for the super max, then as soon as he is able to be traded, he'll bring in a haul, assuming that's what he wants.

But the Pacers' "conditions" would have been a lot better had Pritchard not stupidly backed out of the Cavs/Nuggets deal. I know the Pacers have had a surprisingly good season, but they'd still be better off with Gary Harris and Donovan Mitc right now instead of Oladipo.

That's a typical shooting percentage for washed up Manu.

I get what your saying in hindsight, but before the draft, you never know what you are getting. Prime Paul George is much better than Gary Harris (he’s not getting you into the playoffs) and a late round lottery pick, which more miss than hit. Pritchard went with known commodities. Deals that stunk but without the risk of drafting a dud and then being forever reminded of your stupid trade for a superstar. In hindsight, Mitc and Harris would’ve been a great deal. But if Gary Harris and a late lottery pick is what Kawhi goes for, don’t you feel like Spurs got taken in that?

Trolling effort is a 1.5/10. Keep honing your craft and maybe, just maybe, you may put out a decent post in a couple of years
