What about the people who get no healthcare because of the way we ration it?

What about the ones that pay fo it through the nose because, what if we had cancer? Then doctor visits and prescriptions get to expensive so they rarely go?

Trump flips farmers the bird as their 'worst fears' come true

Illinois hog farmer Brian Duncan told the Chicago Tribune:

“We were hoping it was just brinkmanship and cooler heads would prevail.

But instead, some of our worst fears seem to be coming true,” said Duncan, who’s also vice president of the Illinois Farm Bureau.

“This is significant, real and serious for rural America.”

That was before Wednesday, when China announced another round of retaliatory tariffs on more than 100 products worth $50 billion, including soybeans, cars, chemicals and airplanes.

Amid tumbling stocks and fretting farmers—a loyal Trump voting bloc—

the man who sits in the Oval Office demonstrated his trademark casual cluelessness for the concerns of anyone but himself.

"We are not in a trade war with China," he declared on Twitter Wednesday morning.

One out of every 3 soybeans grown in the U.S. is exported to China,

largely to feed a rapidly growing hog industry for a booming middle class in China, said Rincker, who’s also a board member of the Illinois Soybean Association.

    That amounted to

more than $14 billion in soybean exports to China in 2016

    ,
according to the American Soybean Association.

Illinois was the top soybean-producing state in 2017, with about $3 billion in exports, according to estimates from the Illinois Soybean Association. China is the largest export market for whole soybeans.

China targeted soybeans for a reason:

Eight of the biggest soybean exporting states voted for Trump in 2016,

states voting for and still supporting Trash can eat Trash's !

    probable side effect?

even more loss of Brazil's forests

as soybean farmers burn down forests (been a problem for years aleady) to grow soybeans (BR already a big producer) to fill the hole that Trash has dug.

yes, gmo soybeans, 100s tons of x-icide, sterilized soil, polluted air and water are great for the planet.

Loss of forest is loss of habitat for 1000s of animals and plants, and even for some primitive human tribes.

    Where is the Dow now?
    In another headline induced plunge.

The market absorbed new of the first two rounds. A third round is now threatened that is larger than the two other threatened rounds. Beijing will absolutely not back down, and the tariff threats are playing very well with domestic Chinese audiences, who want their government to stand up to the US.

Trump threatens tariffs on $100 billion more China goods; Beijing ready to strike back
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/china-say...--finance.html

It is bluster and a negotiating tack. The Chinese know this as well.

Trump will get some token concessions, so that he can give people like TSA and Chris talking points, and will play it up as a big win.

Pointless of course, because threats will not have been necessary to win minor concessions. Again, it plays well with the brainwashed Trumpist cult.

Doesn't sound like you are either. How exactly are you comparing a primary source of protein to a forest?

what ? this statement is probably worst than 2/90 = 14% tbh

holy you are a massive imbecile
China is absolutely dependent on its trade with the United States. They sell us 400 billion dollars worth of imports every year. We get to sell about 50 billion to them.

You are a massive imbecile and totally out of your league. Have a nice day.
