The problem is that the Blazers are more likely to get #4 than #3.
Just in case, I'll root for them against Utah on Wednesday.

Anyway, if they finish #4...Spurs could get #5..Who knows.

They were missing Ed Davis in yesterday's game, which has hurt them significantly, since he's by far their most important bench player(and arguably the best bench big in the league)..Harkless has struggled, but he's another piece they were missing, he would match up well vs. Gay..
Harkless needed a surgery...Ed Davis will be re-evaluated just when playoffs start... Both players could miss the first games of the series.

Good call on Harkless, I just read that he could be back in the 1st round, though..

Ed Davis will be back, he was actually targeting last night's game for a return IIRC..they'll probably hold him out until the Jazz game if they still need it IMO..

If Kawhi comes back, I want to see Denver. If he doesn’t, GSW. I rather see a Curry-less Warriors in the first round and hopefully we can make them sweat.

Blazers or Minnesota, since Denver isn't realistic..

Portland doesn't play at a high pace and they have an average 3-point rate, the Spurs match up well vs. their style.. they would still win the series since the Spurs can't win on the road, but SA would at least have a shot at it..

They were missing Ed Davis in yesterday's game, which has hurt them significantly, since he's by far their most important bench player(and arguably the best bench big in the league)..Harkless has struggled, but he's another piece they were missing, he would match up well vs. Gay..

Minnesota is obvious..their bench is horrendous, which still matters, even with their starters playing heavy minutes in the playoffs..low-IQ players, Aldridge usually dominate Towns, Green has defended Butler very well..

More importantly, they shoot the least amount of 3s in the league and they play at a slow pace, especially with Butler in the lineup..

Denver, Minny, Portland. The rest is a crapshoot til you get to GS and Houston.

I don’t know why people are so scared of OKC. Would I “prefer” them? Maybe not, but I would not put them so far above others that I would be upset.

We have an entire season of data and they are medicore.

My order (from most to least preferable)

    1. Minnesota
    2. Denver
    3. Portland
    4. New Orleans
    5. Utah
    6. Oklahoma City
    7. Golden State (Only if minus Curry)
    8. Houston

Yeah, I know its probably impossible for us to meet Denver or Minnesota this year, but I wanted a complete list.

    Same order.

Was thinking that too since we have Dejounte to help guard Westbrook now but that team has a lot more playoff experience than the others. That has to count for something.

Give me OKC before Utah. Otherwise I agree with your list exactly.

Utah is scary good and will only get better as Mitc continues to stud out.

Golden State, tbh. We're not winning this year so we might as well face the best team in the league while they're cripple and make them sweat more than they would normally expect in the 1st round, tbh.
