    Well, we have slowmo starting and he's been a top 10 defender in the league this year, so forgive me if I don't buy into the narrative that players need to be fast to be able to defend. You play fast and have slow players? sure, it's not gonna work out.. but we're traditionally among the slow paced teams in the league, he'd fit great imo.

    Anderson is a good defender but top 10 shiiiiiit ..
    Whatever metric that is ...is horse .
    But im proud of Anderson and think he is versatile enough to play an uptempo game ...at the right price I would sign him.

    ... well.. for more than 60 games played and 25 minutes per game :

    6th in defensive rating, 13th in defensive win shares, 2nd in defensive box plus minus.. Looks like a top 10 defender in my book .. Mind you, I meant in this season, not in general.

    I'll take the L. I still believed in the bigs win les philosophy back then, but players like Big Oak are obviously obsolete in today's chucking oriented game. Today's game has given career ters like Anthony Tolliver a reprieve on their career. Scored 25 points tonight When an Anthony Tolliver is a threat for that many points, it really is Today's NBA.

    Okafor would still be a bust in the "bigs win les" era because of his atrocious rebounding and defense, though. He's literally never developed any skill other than post moves.

    russell still has a potential to become an all star. he definitely has the talent. the issue with him was his immaturity. he’ll get better in time. considering how the league values scoring guards, kid has a future in the league.

    there’s a good chance okafor has played his last season in the nba.

    Agreed however despite all the jokes i would take a cheap flyer if he is willing to be a bench big ..and understands he wont get regular closing mins. I think he can score on bench bigs.

    all star maybe a fringe one in weaker East ...but hiscknee troubles worry me ...but even with shaky knees been far more productive and effective than Baby Duncan ...
