Without the initial split-second push, Vazquez pushes that one into the open net..I don't agree mostly with the Buffon sending off..Should have given him the chance to stop that one as a mitigating factor..

Even if you give the push on the back a pass claiming it's not strong enough to knock him down. The defender clearly kicked him on the side of his torso while completely missing the ball.
Looks at his movement, in the process of falling forward he got pushed to his right by the defenders leg. That's not something you can fake when you're already going down, that's a natural motion.

You know, as much as I like to troll Ronaldo and Madrid I have to give credit when credit is due. They’ve had a tough route this year and last year and outside of getting Roma in the next round it’ll be another tricky one this year. I still think Messi is the GOAT but it’s hard to deny Ronaldo’s performances in the CL. I didn’t think he was that good today but that penalty was very well placed.
How do you feel about Liverpool or Bayern? You guys seem to own Bayern after 2013.

Madrid got their would-be choke out of the system..They should be favorites to win it all by a bit of margin unless Don Juup has a tactical masterpiece up his sleeves and Bayern get some guys back from injury especially Coman..
I think Roma will get crushed and Liverpool will scrap but still lose to them..
I don't think it matters at this point. Roma just pulled off arguably the biggest upset in CL history, so morale is high. Liverpool handled the favorite City by a wide margin and made it look easy, Bayern is Bayern.
These were the strangest and most eventful quarters i can remember and every team is capable of beating Real if they don't bring their absolute A game.
With that said, i'm still taking Real with Ronaldo, Ramos back and Benzema on Bale's spot over anyone.
I honestly dont think Real will even struggle against Roma and Bayern. Real is always big bossing team that arent offensive machines.
Liverpool could get tricky but so long as Salah is kept at a minimum Real should win it easy.
Real is very cealry heavy favourites specially with Ronaldo being at his Peak st age 33

Some fans give him a lot of but the fact is Benzema knows his role, doesn't seem to mind it and doesn't play over his head. Not everyone is meant to or can be a superstar.
He's been the perfect complement to GOATnaldo over the years, knows how to hold possession with his back to the goal, dish out the timely assist and when to take defenders with him to open lanes for Ronaldo. Bale is too much of a loose cannon with the ball.

Do you seriously not see the defender hit and push Vasquez to the side with his leg, when Vasquez was initially falling forward?
lol son that's not a foul. Football is a contact sport, not every contact is a foul.
BTW Jodelo said Benatia didn't touch the ball. But if Benatia didn't touch the ball there, how does the ball revert his direction? From that angle it sure as doesn't seem like Vasquez touches it.
Clear as day: Benatia puts both hands on Vasquez back as a support but at no point does he pushes. There's no extension whatsoever of the arms. That's not a push, just a normal contact on a contact sport. And then with his foot he gets the ball first, in fact he says it on the interview. Not a foul, no matter where you look at it.
