He was MVP runner-up in 2016 too. Anyway, I'm not saying he's pissed I said how Parker/Manu see him as player and the chance to trade him for good pieces would be the reason why they said what they said..Otherwise, they wouldn't have said anything
So your logic is that they don't see him as a MVP player because they called him out for his injury and that if they viewed him as a legit MVP caliber player that they wouldn't have called him out. You still sound re ed with that logic.

Hard for me to believe the media last year never asked Manu or Tony about Kawhi being an MVP candidate.
So weird. Links we wont find Parker/Manu/LMA saying Kawhi deserved the award. SA media asked other guys on the team just not them. I wonder why...

Because it doesn't matter what a player is doing or not, teammates don't criticize him in public.
You actually consider this to be criticism?

Regardless of what happens with Kawhi, Parker needs to be gone.

C's lost Hayward and Irving while Smart missed playoffs for a non-basketball injury. Did you hear teammates throwing him under the bus for his unprofessional behavior?
Again, those that saw the interview and understand Tony's situation. It was not a "dig" at Kawhi it was about his injury. The Spurs were calling both of their injuries the same thing except Tony ruptured his and Kawhi was feeling pain. That was his best recollection. He was also saying that he hopes Kawhi "stayed positive" throughout his rehabilitation and to come back strong. Like I said, and Kori said, you are picking sides. This is ridiculous to think Tony and Manu did anything for Kawhi to protest or be mad about. If you want to take his side just say he is trying to come back because if its anything about protesting against the Spurs besides "maybe" the injury mishandling, then that means Kawhi is the most sensitive man in basketball to me.

I guess it's easier to talk about a teammate in public when you know he won't be on the team next season.

If they think he's expendable and trust in Pop in offseason, it sounds like a reason.

Right so the SA media knew Manu,LMA,Parker didn't think Kawhi deserved the MVP so they didn't ask them that question. Again I have hard time believing the media never asked those 3 guys about Kawhi having an MVP season last year. I just believe your lying about that. To me you just seem butt hurt that Tony,Manu,LMA are not kissing Kawhi's ass.

Like I said, and Kori said, you are picking sides.
I'm not the only one picking sides on this.

However,I've said I support Kawhi because there aren't media reports nor his teammate comments that convince me he's faking an injury.

I truly believe he's injured and wont trust anyone that says or suggests that other thing is going. I'm transparent, I said this since day 1.

Again, those that saw the interview and understand Tony's situation. It was not a "dig" at Kawhi it was about his injury.
You already know "those" who thought that it wasn't a dig at him were a minority group.

I think after all is said and done we're going to feel bad for Kawhi rather than hate him.

A mysterious impairment that won't heal. Expecting and hoping things improve but they never do. Not knowing himself the answers to the questions everyone is asking. Fans and media stirring up all around him. Feeling like he's letting everyone down. Too ashamed to even appear at games. Possible chronic condition that leads to a complete career collapse.

Well, I give The Klaw the benefit of the doubt, and wish him a full recovery no matter where he ends up.

What you define as talking is pretty weak in my eyes. Go watch 19:00 and 27:47 to get an idea what cons utes as ting on a teammate in public. Also watch from 28:42 till 31:00 to get an idea of why Kawhi has ty leadership skills. It would give you a clear cut answer to why allegedly Manu,Tony, and LMA don't like Kawhi.

What happened to Marcus Smart? He's not playing in the playoffs, and he doesn't have an injury?

Hi Kori, hope you've been well. Are we allowed to post full articles now? I thought back in the day someone tried to rip off LJ saying he was stealing material from them (I know he wasn't), so I thought we're not allowed to post full articles from that point on.

Also, what is your opinion and also Timvp's on whether or not you think Kawhi will be a Spur next season?

Obviously YGWHI is just making up reasons for the rift without any basis.
    Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows.
Before anyone on NBA media, I was talking about the Spurs medical staff, about their supposed summer mistake.
When everyone said he wants out I said he was working to return before Woj's report...
When Kawhi said it's a new injury I said it wasn't true because I knew it was from last season, I gave reasons why he said it, at the same time I explained since when he had the issue...
I was never wrong about a Kawhi's update. Again, who knows.

What happened to Marcus Smart? He's not playing in the playoffs, and he doesn't have an injury?
Non-basketball injury = off court injury.

I believe most people see the quote and think "yea" that's bad but the interview was nothing of the sort but I guess you dont care to see the interview or would much rather go with a "story".

You have all the time in the world to watch that video since your Kawhi's butler. Don't worry Kawhi is not going to be making a house check anytime soon with him not being in San Antonio right now.

Actually clear proof at 56 second mark in this clip that it wasn't just Manu who didn't respect Kawhi but also Duncan. You may be on to something.

I agree with objective, Parker needs to retire or go play in France -- he's done.
