    Told ya nigas

Looks like US must have warned russians and avoided any area where russians are stationed

Still not clear if this was just a symbolic bombing or actual bombing to destroy Syrian assets

100 missiles is a whole ing lot to be just a symbolic bombing. But thankfully looks like its just a one time shot

Expct in Ukraine to get real as Im sure Russians are ing pissed
That's not what you told us.

So this was a pointless exercise to show the world what they already knew, Chris? That England and France are our allies?

“The Syrian ministry explained that Syria repelled the Western attack by air defense complexes made in the USSR over 30 years ago, including the S-125 and S-200 air defense systems, as well as Buk and Kvadrat.

the Syrian defense forces managed to intercept 71 cruise missile out of 103, including all that had been fired at Dumayr military airport located 40 kilometers (24 miles) north-east of Damascus.“

If that is to be believed then that means Syria intercepted about $184 million US taxpayer dollars

If 30 year old Russian s125 can do this then US has no prayer vs S400. No wonder they did not even dare shoot 1 of their 2.6 million dollar duds at any Russian area

Btw S500 is already being set up in Moscow regions

    Damn

No check, no balance: For Trump, congressional approval is optional on Syria

It wasn’t that long ago that Donald Trump had a very different view of Syria.

    Donald J. Trump
    @realDonaldTrump

What will we get for bombing Syria besides more debt and a possible long term conflict? Obama needs Congressional approval.
    1:14 PM - Aug 29, 2013

Trump wasn’t alone in insisting that President Obama needed congressional approval before taking any military action in Syria.

The opinions seemed universal among Republicans at the time.

Which is why President Obama actually
sought the authority to strike Syria. And congressional Republicans expressed their appreciation for Obama following the rules in their traditional fashion.

But that was then. This is now.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) on Tuesday said he doesn’t believe President Trump needs to seek congressional approval before taking military action in response to the recent chemical attack in Syria.

“Look, if he came to Congress, obviously I’d support it. I don’t think he needs to,” Kinzinger said while citing the War Powers Act on CNN’s “New Day.”

    And Kinzinger has it right.

Since Congress is a rubber stamp for Trump, there’s little point in going through the motions.

In fact, one might even say that Congress isn’t needed at all.

I would take what the Syrian Ministry says with a grain of salt.

US DoD just said that not one of the US missiles was shot down by Syrian Air Defense and that the vast majority of Syrian missiles started firing after the coalition strikes were over. Again, it's a matter of choose who you wanna believe, but I'm a little more inclined to believe us over Baghdad Bob 2.0

Literally none of their SAMs met with a coalition target. None.

If ancient Soviet tech rendered our mid range missile technology impotent Russia would be the superpower controlling the world instead of us. Since that’s not true, it is safe to logically believe our intel over a tenuously situated state’s puppet media.

I suppose we'll never have an accurate info on the damage done, including civilians, "babies, little babies", killed.

Trash and the military claim perfection, taking us all for fools.

For whatever damage was done, now what? Assad has been "improved"?

Line 1: the non guided SAMs launched by Syrian forces ballistically for the sake of propaganda almost certainly wasted dozens of their own civilians. Again.

Line 2: In terms of delivering the payload we ordered, the attack was perfect. Did it destroy Assad’s chemical warfare capability? Remains to be seen.

Line 3: eliminating chemical weapons manufacturing, distribution and storage facilities prevents another chemical warfare attack. It also directly threatens Assad with regime change should be make use of a hidden cache of them. Russia doesn’t want regime change and that is why they lie so forcefully and wholeheartedly about Assad’s culpability concerning their now numerous deployments.

    You’re like a child, really.
