coz we're switching everything instead of defending straight up, fighting screens, etc.. so they get to choose the matchups, but we don't.

Not as distressed about this half as some seem to be. There are things here that can work. The things that don't are a lot more numerous. Pop not playing Forbes ever again or having Patty on Klay for starters. Bertans works as a rotation player. Gay should get more time with Aldridge. Green on Durant as been good, despite that final play. I have no issue with the team being blown out this game if they use it to research like they did last year against Houston. GS is making a lot of tough shots, and the Spurs have missed some chippies. These teams are closer than it seems.

Last I checked, LeBron/Dominos are essentially closer to being Kawhi's peers & they took their talent elsewhere.

Kobe didn't demand a trade until after his 3rd year with a supporting cast that was much worse than this, not even close..

LeBron played 7 years before leaving, as did Durant..Kawhi's "wasted peak" was a team that reached the WCFs he's been a superstar for only 1 year revisionist history here..

Spurs have to be more aggressive when the Warriors double LMA in the post whether it is cutting or post split action, they also need to move the ball quicker and not hold for as long!!!

2014 doesn't happen without 2013, IMO. And I would agree this Dubs team has more talent, but they're also more than the sum of it's parts, which is what highlights a great system... unlike the Spurs ATM...
