what a sad state for spurfan tbh... Thinking about this got me sad. Not only are they getting humiliated in the playoffs but Kiwi isn't showing up to support the team and let us know he's going to be fine and is there to support them however he can and hope for a strong return next year. kiwifan defending him and fighting other spurfan for his honor and Kiwi not giving a over spurfan worries. I assume he's hurt but him not caring about the fans by showing up and still being a part of the team is depressing.

I watched a similar beat down to the warriors last season and didn't feel as depressed about it as now. I hope the rest of the team shows some toughness and Pop makes adjustments but the whole thing with Kiwi makes me bitter and sad.

Spurs should have just tanked, getting swept by Golden State and being out of the playoffs in early April not worth it. A top 10 draft pick sounds better. Let's face it Pop would never allow tanking and Manu wanted to make the playoffs in what could be his last season. Kawhi probably wants out because he sees what a mess this franchise is about to become. This is the best thing that could have happened to the Warriors with Curry out. Next round they play either Portland or New Orleans and Houston has to face T-wolves and next round OKC or Utah. I'd say Warriors have the easier path to the WCF.

Well he isn't getting traded to Lakers unless they offer some crazy deal for him (Lonzo, Ingram, Randle, plus 1st, 2nd round picks, etc). Spurs would never trade with a rival unless they are getting the better end of the trade.

Couldn't have tanked when even mid March Kiwi was leaking to the press he was coming back and gave an interview saying he was coming back this season. That gets ignored by the tankathon proponents. Maybe next year.
