Anyone thinking that he's coming back at any point in this series is delusional. I've always thought Spurs would re-sign him because of the money and you can't let that kind of asset go without compensation and they can't maximize a trade for him unless he's got at least 2 years on his contract. But I'm thinking more and more that this situation is so broken that it may not be repairable. I mean, why rehab in NY? If you were going to get well enough to play, you'd be in SA or Oakland. It's clear he's not going to be there in the next week, which is about all it will take for GSW to eliminate S.A. Why not just join your team and cheer them on unless you don't like them.
