Yeah right this was the summer contract year probably last good one he should have been working his ass off he didn’t as it’s going to cost him millions.

Green needs to play with a penetrating point guard..his play declined once the point guard play took a ..which was about 3 years ago tbh.

Green strictly a catch and shoot guy...if he’s asked to do anything else he’s an below average player...
Agree. He might have to leave this team, specially if they are heading for a tank. He doesn't fit a rebuild.

Also,I don't know to what degree there is some decline, he's had groin injuries, a sore calf and hasn't looked all that well in many RS games. But it's quite possible he goes elsewhere and gets at least his shooting back.

Spurs have needed better guards for several years as you point out. We shall see what happens... at the rate they are going (in terms of standing pat, signing old players and trying out gleague players and low end prospects) they will end up in the tankathon. Maybe Kiwi is healthy and back next season, but it's still irresponsible to stand pat with this guard rotation.

Looking forward to see what they have in White and whether Dijon is better next season. Even then, they need a more certain and better guard out there, can't rely on young players who still haven't proven themselves in the league to be offensive sparks (DJ has improved defensively but offensively is another matter entirely).

Took 2, one was close and looked good to go in, the other was very off. Played less than 10 minutes overall and that was with over 2 minutes of garbage time, which is why I said botons deux didn't even watch that game.

Greens mechanics took a hit when he started to be more than a catch and shoot..and that even magnified once the guard play/beautiful game died. Watch the 13’ Finals videos of him and his 3’s..90% were clean catch and shoot and in rhythm. Danny jumps really high when he shoots and it’s all about his feet/balance..there’s so much room for error when you rely on that so much and can’t shoot off the dribble to save your life...blows my mind how he never developed a 1-2 dribble pull up while getting ran off the line..

The obvious thing to look at is how he awkwardly holds the ball when they close out on him and see the bs he throws up there..absolute awful mechanics on how to shoot and handle those type of close outs

It’s funny how Green and Mills were acceptable when they were mostly catch and shoot guys. PATFO’s inability to find a penetrating point guard to replace a declined Tony Parker has set in motion a bad chain reaction that exposes many shortcomings with the team, sans Kawhi Leonard. Hind sight says a point guard should have been a priority a couple of years before Murray was drafted.

Don't know if that article is legit but in my oppinion it's time to move on from Danny. Thank him for his play that helped us win 5 and get a more rounded SG who can pass and bounce the ball properly.
Agreed.. Nothing wrong w/ moving on.. He has made a career out of it, did his job, is a champion & got paid ( is a millionaire now )... Business is business, just the way it goes...

Of course the typical re s of the board prove that they don't watch the games

G-League is missing wide open catch and shoot looks. There's no ing excuse for that. He's done. It doesn't get better at Age 31+.

Time to remove the cancers out of this team and this guy is one of them now. On both sides of the ball.

I don't think you watched that game at all.
Kyle didn't start. he came off the bench and his minutes have been cut the entire series to token minutes pretty much.
He didn’t play cause the er is to scared to shoot the ball

It was a nice run, tbh..he was the best pure perimeter role player in the league for 3 years, sad to see him like this..

He's probably going to opt in since he won't get paid anywhere else..hopefully this will be a reality check and he will spend all off-season finding his jump shot, rather than partying..
    He's following that Thabo trajectory

How do you build such a horrible three point shooting roster in today's NBA?

Danny against the Warriors is like taking aspirin to treat AIDS. He’s only good enough for the mediocre aches & pains but when it comes to teams that matter, he’s useless.

With Kwahi gone, we might as well blow up the roster. My only untouchable is LMA. I would let Manu play at whatever salary he could agree to If he gives us five minutes per game of Manu for the veteran minimum, I'd let him play until we run out of bats in the stadium and his wheels fall off. Ask Parker to renegotiate his contract as we owe him some loyalty too.

After those three, I don't have any personal feelings about anyone else. Trade 'em, play 'em, or cut 'em.
