OL Stacy Wilkins of Camden, AR told Inside Texas his plan is to take an official visit to UT on May 4th.

There are rumors he's going to shut it down this weekend, and that scenario would favor OU.

Tfloss, you think Texas playing it slow with some of these recruits may not be the right approach? I understand it's only April, but man it seems like more and more kids want to verbal earlier than in the past. Maybe it's just me and i'm trying to figure out what happened with Leal, but for a player who everyone had inked in for this class to just up and become and aggy overnight has to make you think.......

of course, i've always made the argument that these are the same kids that are likely to change their commitments so that is why i ain't exactly inking leal in as a solid just yet although it looks good for now.

I don't know if there is an answer because the other side of that argument is taking early commitments from Watkins and Tatum, but then you get burned.

Some guys love the non-pressure approach and the relationship-building aspect of it and that's how Herman landed Floyd.

How do you efficiently navigate a landscape in which you've thrown out 100+ offers and every single situation is different, plus factoring in how other schools are recruiting against you?

According to 24/7, Coach Beck is headed to California on Monday and Tuesday of next week to watch 2020 QB Bryce Young of Mater Dei throw.

Young's family is saying he's going to be offered.

The report said that the offer would put Texas in Young's Top 2 along with USC.
