If we duplicate our losses from last season except we beat Maryland and Tech, then we are at 8 wins on the season. However, i don't think that is going to happen. There is really only one conference game I believe Texas will be coming in as a underdog, and that is Oklahoma. We all know anything can happen in that game, but they are breaking in a new QB, advantage Texas.
Most teams that beat us are breaking in new QBs this year, again advantage Texas. I was only half joking when I said 11-1, it wouldn't surprise me if we did do that.
What I want to see from this coaching staff is cleaning up the play against inferior teams and putting them away with authority. Herman has shown a tendency to crap the bed against teams he is supposed to beat.
I think the Texas keys to victory are to duplicate their defensive effort from last year, clean up the oline play, and better more mature decision making from the QBs. We get that and Texas should be coming in about 10 or 11 wins this season.
They must need clicks.

It looks like the proposed redshirt rule will have to wait, for now.
Jalen Hurts says he is set to transfer if he doesn't win the starting spot at QB.

i think a 2nd in a row is quite possible. looking forward to the leal matchup against steele's sop re QB (he didn't become the starter until after the judson game) who shows a lot of promise as a potential star. still, i think judson should be the favorite again this season. always pull for the rockets-except when they play steele. there are a lot of friendships between the two teams as well.
That would be a great rule although 4 seems like too many and I'd make them ineligible for any le or playoff games
Lol "biggest free agent in cfb history"
I don't know any blue blood school that would want him.
Off the top of my head Troy Aikman was bigger.
makes sense. if always at jerry world or some other massive stadium, the technology will be there. anything besides the state le game would be too difficult.
I guess he's transferring then.
He's a nice back but it's not like he's really gonna be a huge difference maker if he came to Tech any way. He'd most likely be a 3rd down back playing behind both Tre King and Deleon Ward.
And FYI fwiw wgaf but it's gonna be really weird but Tech is gonna run the out of the ball this year. Two back sets and stuff.
Just weird.
Is that supposed to be a last ditch effort from Kliff?
It's because the qb situation is the worst it's ever been for Kliff going even back to his UH coaching days plus with the loss of Cantrell and Coutee, no consistent reliable wide receivers to lean on.
O Line looks good and Tech has a good stable of running backs.
Just playing to strength. Just weird.
