Ingles calling out Shaq for his terrible Australian impression
You are not getting it. The center posting up midgets could get 30 and the Rockets would still be content to let the other team keep posting up.
Ingles calling out Shaq for his terrible Australian impression
I defend Russ some too ...but not his best moment tonight.
dude is soooo confident.
Towns couldn't even do that & his defense makes Pau seem like peak Deke.............
That's besides the point.
I have to play like that nowadays against these young 16-21 year olds at my gym, tbh..I'm getting old, might have to get back on some test and anavar![]()
I admire Chuck's heart and passion for the game but he has zero ing judgment and will never learn till he's past his expiration date..
Can't lead a team if you can't lead yourself
The same dude that ran circles around Pop in '16?
Yeah I dunno that was a questionable series and Timmy was done, can't put that totally on pop getting rooked
I guess...besides him not being able to get buckets
OKC over the Spurs in 2016 is one of biggest flukes ever.
The same dude who played Diaw/D-Worst (who both couldn't score or rebound) against the Kanter/Adams frontline time & time again while they were getting absolutely raped?
Could have played Kawhi at the 4 & forced them to take out Kanter.
Mavs over Heat IS the biggest fluke ever
I mean that's about as far I'll go to defend post-14 Pop TBH
Sides I think looking back with his personal he was already checking out
Definitely lucky in 2011, but that was Less of a fluke than OKC vs Spurs, or Cavs over Warriors.
Cavs over Warriors in '16 is by far the biggest Fluke. Nothing comes even close. OKC and Mavs clearly dominated their respective series.
Teague should be the other guy they get rid of too, though that'll prove to be harder with 2 years left.
Still remember laughing at Ingles jumper when he was playing in the NBL & thinking this slow ass joker can't shoot for. Gotta take my medicine on that one.
Russ wants to win, but only on his terms. Sound like anyone else we know?
ABC and TNT aren't looking at a worse case scenario but this year totally sucks for them. No New York, LA or Chicago for starters, possibly for only the second (first?) time since anyone gave a damn about the NBA. Philadelphia is good but not a power and in the playoffs for the first time in years. The best regular season team is from a big market but not sexy. LeBron may not get out of the first round and maybe Boston either. They're in a no-win situation between Toronto and Washington. It's not like the Wiz have been great and while from a large market, aren't a big national draw and aren't even that good. The Raptors fanbase is tiny in the US, where they draw their ratings. And New Orleans just swept a series against another small market team. Utah looks like they're gonna take out a big star from OKC, yet another tiny market. Nothing short of epic series' in the WCF between the Rockets and Warriors and the winner against whoever in the Finals can overcome this.
This could easily be your second round:
Rockets/Jazz (unless Karl and Hakeem are coming back, forget about it being nationally sexy)
Warriors/Pelicans
Pacers/Raptors-Wizards (take your pick, at least for TV execs)
Bucks/Sixers (it's not impossible for Miami to come back)
And the lower seeded team could win each series (Steph won't be 100% when he comes back), This is where we might just see some game fixing to generate TV interest.
Not dumb at all. His 5 losses is a major reason why he's not considered unanimous GOAT in many fans eyes. He has the stats (30K points, 8K rebs, 8K assts) that no one else has including Jordan. Jordan's rangs are the ultimate neuttalizer... and so are Kobe's.
If he ends up 3-8 in the Finals, only winning with stacked class of 2003 and untimely suspensions to Dr. Dray/Bogut - is he still your GOAT? 3-8 is PATHETIC.
Rubio went 1-5 (6 points) looks good on the surface. Chucky "shut that down" like he said he would. But not in the team concept. He put his personal goals (like his triple doubles) above the team's, amassing 4 first half fouls. He was not his aggressive self after that and Jazz took full advantage.
Last night, in a nuts is why KD left. On paper, OKC should sweep them, but alas, they are down 1-3. Cool with me. If they lose this jersey, the Lakers pro shop should start selling PG13 jerseys that night.![]()
What a stupid ass tweet from a bad twitter acct. I'm highly critical of Westbrook but he's worth every penny of that 40 mil/year. You can almost never overpay a true superstar caliber player like him in the NBA.
