LOL. HOLY ! This board is a fickle ing mistress...

You know the only difference between Game 3 and Game 4, other than the trashing that all the Spurs coaches took, including Pop, who obviously wasn't there, for hiring whom that he did, but also Messina?!?

We hit shots in Game 4. That's it.

Instead of going 20% or whatever atrocious percentage from 3, we got 15/28 from deep in Game 4. Conversely, they shot like 25% instead of nearly 50% from 3 in Game 4.

It's as simple as being hot or not that causes schizophrenic posters on this board to have violently wild mood swings.

Not Tim, but Manu. I don't think Tim would be a good coach, he's not vocal enough.

Huh? Del Negro and Kidd have “experience” and both ing suck. Way to miss the point. Don’t know where you think I was using him as an alternative.

Where are you getting this from? You’re connecting some imaginary points and some narrative that you think I’m throwing out there which doesn’t follow what I’ve been saying.

Only thing keeping the Spurs from falling to the bottom of the barrel is Pop. So no, I don't want Messina to be the HC next season.

The thread was you & daboom calling each other gots for one page until you threw that twitter msg out about Del Negro & Kidd

Not sure why you showed a tweet about guys with "experience" getting interviewed

that was my way of showing that two guys with so-called experience can actually ing suck. But leave it to the idiot Suns organization to try and give these guys a shot again.

I thought it was well-known that Kidd and Del Negro suck. Connecting two and two together with the conversation we were having about "experience", my posting of that tweet was sarcastic at best.

I don't know. But I see one very long shot scenario of LeBron coming here IF Pop coaches and IF Leonard stays. And Leonard probably stays IF Lebron comes to SA.

If Pop retires, I think we lose whatever small possibility of that happening.
LeBrons BBIQ way to high to think it must be "Paddy Mills / Gasol / Popped or bust".
If Leonard is 100% healthy, that is the key to LeBron coming or not.

Irrelevant, Wino is coming back for the money and more attention whoring lame sideline and postgame interviews.

It’s players league, players win games. Plan & simple!. Coaches are managers, some venture outside that comfortable pocket and actually teach or as we say coach. Most players by the time they reach the NBA if they’re lucky, think they cannot taught anything else really, so coaches are managing players egos & time management. And with the players having all the power in most organizations these days, coaches actually have very little shot calling ability.
That is what makes POP so different, he has Surcome to that, and has hand his imprint on all basketball related shots that are called. He and Owners are on same page which makes a big difference.
I think Messina is a good coach, but not sure he’ll command the same respect from the players that POP endured.
