Absolutely great guy... you know, if you want to hang out and have a beer with... not playing basketball next to Duncan...
Complained publicly and loudly that he should be starting...
TD21 thread about empty calories needs bumping

Post 2013 Parker
3/4ths the roster today
I don't have a problem with that, I always support players getting money, tbh..
I dislike everything about him on the basketball court..0 effort or hustle, can't even post up against guards, screams and flails like a to get calls, his annoying screaming, etc..
Finley post-2007 was intolerable..his playing style was terrible, Pop would play him no matter what, he chose him over Bowen, and then Finley asked for a trade like a
The audacity of a washed up role player to ask for a trade..
He's old, tbh, his role is that of a backup, and he's not even supposed to be #3 on this team...
I have a bigger problem with younger guys that like to party a lot and then suck on the court...
I have always hated that scream going back to when he was with Lakers. It worked for him back in LA to get foul calls but obviously doesn't work for him in SA.
Bonner is a millionaire while hardworking and brilliant teachers are struggling to make ends meet, with some of them working two other side jobs. That's ed up tbh.
The worst thing about him for me wasn’t even games like tonight. He really shocked me his first season I complained a lot about him initially bc I was used to Timmy who no longer scored much but you could count on to grab rebounds and do a lot of the unheralded stuff... he played defense to the bitter end. To go from that to Gasol was shocking. Eventually I shut up in order to not weary myself out and adjusted... but the way he just looks lazy rebounds fly over his head. He doesn’t jump to grab them, he doesn’t move an inch... truly horrible...
I'll never hate guys like Old Bonner or Ayers. They may have been SAS worst players for some years, but they always gave good effort, were good teammates, had small contracts, and weren't really overplayed. Also both part of '14, and it's very hard to dislike anyone from that team. (I don't count Austin Daye).
A fat, undeserved contract with poor effort is so much worse imo.

Tony Massenburg? Why? He was one of my favourite enforcers. If he didn't get into that accident in the 2005 off-season and was able to come back, then I think he would have roughed up Dallas in the 2006 playoffs and helped the Spurs win the series.
For what RJ was at the time of its acquisition he was probably the most annoying to watch
1. Steve Smith
2. Richard Jefferson
3. Paul Pressey
4. Matt Bonner
5. Dale Ellis
yes. Turkoglu and Bogans are also great picks
and didn't he ask to be released a few months into the season? we ended up giving J Green away for nothing.
Nick Van Exel
Keith Bogans
Jeff Ayers
Old school entry: Maurice Cheeks, dude never wanted to be here, he never even got an apartment, he just stayed in a hotel.
you just like him because he speaks spanish tbh
he's cultured for sure. smart player too, it has to be said...
If only he had 5 less years ...
Can you imagine if when David Robinson retired, Pau Gasol had came here then. Not taking into account cap and roster, yada yada, just fantisizing.
I also disliked Paul Pressey and Dale Ellis.
I also disliked Negele Knight and that Derek Anderson. I'm glad now Juwan Howard undercut his ass
Actually, I had him mixed up with Keith "centerpiece" Bogans.
I rather he would not be with the Spurs right now, tbh... but he had a great career, won't dog on him coz he's old now...
bertans, ing scrub.
I've never really hated a Spur until Gasol this year tbh
