I think it's unfair to put Tony "out to pasture" based on two things...he still may not be fully recovered from the tear, and he never really adjusted his game to suit his new role. If he's given the off-season, I think we could see a mini-resurgence.

Tim & Manu were able to still be positives overall despite their regression offensively because they were positive defenders.

Tony has stopped being an overall positive for 3 years now because he can not defend anyone well.

It's an entirely different situation than TD/ Manu.

Sucks knowing that he will likely not take the minimum and, even if he does, there will be plenty of other better options out there ready to take the minimum.
