Gentry thought it was a good idea to up the pace against the Warriors in Oracle. You're not the Rockets. Don't try to run with this team.
Dude was putrid against the same Grizz team that got swept by the Spurs when he had all the reigns.![]()

If the Warriors even lose a single playoff game once Curry comes back, it's a massive choke and a stain on their legacies.
In 2014? That was 4 years ago, man.
I hate the got but its obvious he's grown as a player and is in the heart of his prime. You used to get physical with him and he'd settle for chicken fadeaways. Now not so much. Significantly shorter guys like Tony Allen and CP3 that gave him trouble in the past wouldn't stand a chance against him today, tbh.
This isn't even fun to watch unless you're a Durant player fan or a Warriors bandwagon fan. This just sucks.
African American coach, what do you expect?![]()
Thunder-Warriors could've been one of the all time great NBA rivalries for the next 5 years and we were robbed of that.
He never won before that.
Was Pau Gasol a HOFer before he went to LA? Good player, yes.. but HOFer?
Why, because they beat the Pelicans? The Rockets won the season series over the Warriors WITH a healthy Steph Curry.
We'll see, they lost the regular season series to the Rockets, obviously that means little but they had trouble with the Rockets while Steph was healthy.
Winning a le doesn't always determine being an Hofer. Shaq was dominant his first 4 years in the league. He won a scoring le, made all-nba teams, along with leading his team to a finals appearance and 3 conference finals. I hated Shaq as a kid but even I knew at a young age he was going to be a HOFer unless he got hurt. If a player is dominant in his first 3-4 years in the league he's pretty much guaranteed to be an HOFer unless injuries derails his career.
For the Rockets to win Harden and Chris Paul is going to have to play the best series of their life. I feel Harden is going to have an '03 Duncan-Laker moment where he is the best player on the court for that series. I'm not sure if Harden can be better than Curry or Durant for a 7 game series.
I'm pretty much done with watching the Warriors outside of the WCF and did not watch the game tonight. Only reason I will watch the WCF is because I hate both the Rockets-Warriors so for me that series is a win win regardless of who wins. Anyways Warriors to me are boring as to watch. It's the same story every game which is the game will be close for a few minutes then they will hit a few 3's go on a blistering run and it's over within 5 minutes. Also Draymond gets away with fouling and grabbing every game which is not fun to watch. With what he's allowed to get away with the refs on the defensive end only an all-time great like Duncan could wreck him.
I'm not a Trump supporter but the Warriors definitely live up to Trump's phrase which is "We are going to win so much that you are going to get bored of winning."
LOL NBA sports entertainment.Warriorrefs shot 32 free throws to 11 for the Pels
As long as Donkey is allowed to molest people and set endless moving screens....
Yer telling me GS didn't even commit 3 fouls a quarter...its not possible tbh
The Warriors are gonna have to win once in Houston and should they lose a game in Oakland, it means they'll have to win twice in Houston. Possible, but it's not gonna be easy unless Steph is totally himself.
Won't even be the most lopsided officiating of this weekend. It's coming up
Yup Lebron gonna need some foodstamps LOL
Was home, could have watched but didn't with this reason being right up there on the list.
It's not basketball when WarriorRef is involved.
Time saved.![]()
The Warriors were coasting in the regular season. And the Rockets should be worried about getting past Utah first, tbh.
Well I hope the Rockets give them a good series but I don't think the Rockets have a chance IMO. I honestly don't care who wins I just want to see some damn compe ion. Watching one team simply out-talent everyone else with no chance to win shouldn't be exciting to anyone.
Warriors coasted yes, but if Curry is 70% like he was in 2016, the Rockets are going to beat them
Everyone here knows the Warriors sleep walked through the regular season and still finished 2nd in the West by a wide margin. I don't think Houston stands a chance against them if Curry returns healthy.
Were they coasting on opening night as they got their rings? It'd be one thing to coast the last four weeks of the season as they had nothing realistically to play for but opening night?
Stop it, the Warriors were winning at a .700 clip before their injuries set in and they decided to shut it down until the postseason because they knew they couldn't catch the Rockets.
They were sleep walking. This team won 73 games BEFORE Kevin Durant joined them.
Houston was beaten by a crippled Spurs team, at home in a closeout game in the WCF. Houston gained Chris Paul. Houston has a lot to prove. GS not so much.
