Ronaldo has definitely been than Messi in recent years in CL knockout, no argument against that. But Ronaldo also has the much better supporting cast and management than Messi does, which wasn't the case during the Pep era obviously.


Also, congrats to the Madrid fans in here, regardless of how Madrid played, 3 straight CL finals is a great achievement.

tbh missi had xavi/iniesta/neymar ... penaldo NEVER played with somebody of that caliber. for the rest each team had world class players (e.g. pique, um i, puyol, coutinho, suarez, mascherano, bisquits, etc) equal talent to real.

but the key players always were in barca's favor. you can't compare bale/sextape/isco to that level of talent.

tbh you're underrating an in-form ribbery. also it wasn't just ribbery, bayern have amazing play on the flanks : kimmich, alaba, mueller, ribbery are a ing handful for any defense. Add lewandowski creating space up front and you get a much stronger flank team than liverpool. It's not a one man effort, it's both the personnel and the strategy that made real so vulnerable in this series.
