true he doesn't seem like Spurs material, but then again one would have said the same thing about Javelle McGee back in the day but he has found a sweet niche with the Dubs, he just needed the correct environment. Most ready made Spurs are like that because they have to be, since they lack the pure athleticism. Sort of like the plane janes always had sweet personalities. Less athletic players have to do the little things, gym rat, positive in the lockerroom, to stay in the league ie Matt Bonner. The Spurs however really need some athleticism. They have tried to get some on the cheap, Simms and Dedmon, but even then with guys barely in the league but with athleticism they would rather be somewhere else. Finding players with the right mental at ude and athleticism is like finding a unicorn in the league these days.

JaVale McGee is making $1.4M, so that's a poor comparison. A top flite organization took a chance on this clown, and is now having buyer's remorse. No need for SA to either take them off the hook, or repeat their mistake.
