Not that anyone probably cares about the details; but to clarify, Mormons can still join the scouts. They just will no longer ins utionally be partnering with them. I heard a couple years back that they may be developing their own program(s), but I don't know where that ended up.
I know Mormons. They are kind of hive minded and they will disown the Scouts as soon as it catches wind.
There's no doubt that this will hit the scouts hard. But if they're gonna screw with their best customer, then that's how it goes.
I give this policy 5-10 years max before they go back to the traditional Boy Scouts, or a new organization takes advantage of the increase in demand and leapfrogs.
