When asked his opinion on a possible Lakers trade involving his son Lonzo and Kawhi, he made the following comments:

“Stop it! … no. Lonzo, I’m gonna tell you what he does, makes everyone on the team better,” LaVar Ball said. “Who don’t want to start a team with that? You put Kawhi on there, he won’t make everyone better. He’s gonna do his thing. He’s a specialty guy.”

He's getting what he wants...attention. Of course he's gonna say Lonzo is better than Kawhi, that's his son. However, he knows deep down Kawhi is much better. If you interview him you know he's going to say stupid things like this to just get attention.

I called this in another thread. The grass is always greener, but if Kawhi was uncomfortable by the publicity and media here in SA good luck going to a big market, especially one with Lavar around.

I wouldnt want Lonzo period. He cannot shoot. Until he finds a way to fix dat broken shot. Forget it.

There is nothing worse that watching a player put up shot after shot that CLANGS off the rim, or in Balls case..........the backboard, side of the basket, shot clock, support structure of the goal.
