To own the libs. Anything's worth doing for that.
Why are you cheering for Russia?
To own the libs. Anything's worth doing for that.
There is a word for people like that and it starts with a T.
Cheering for enemies of USA good now
eh, I don't know about that. I see a lot of motivated reasoning and negative partisanship on both sides. There is a word for people like that and it starts with a T.
calling people you disagree with traitors is weak sauce, tbh
I also think it's overstatement to call Russia an enemy of the US.
What about the the specific en ies indicted
No. People who root for other countries, hostile adversaries above theirs, who have launched attacks on their country is treasonous. em. You may not agree. Do not care. Party affiliations should not stand in the way of acknowledging potential criminal wrongdoing, especially when it comes to national security. I don't give a damn about "owning" a party. I want accountability no matter where the chips fall. Yes, liberals were involved in this as well. The rule of law is more important than deflecting the truth.

the troll farms and such?
I can see the rhetorical appeal of that, perhaps the legal underpinning gives it a bit of color.
The US has meddled in scores of foreign elections; does that make people in those countries who cheer for the US traitors in their own?

so, Spurstalkers who cheer for Russia are traitors and should be prosecuted for "launching attacks on their own country"?
Treason/traitorous implies a more than negligible importance to a specific person's loyalty. I doubt any SpursTalker here has the kind of influence to qualify as a traitor.
Pathetic loser? Absolutely.
You are engaging in the behavior I am talking about. Sorry, not entertaining your ignorance. Neither will the rule of law.
One of the points I've observed here is that rightwingnutjob/gun-fellator sheeple think politics is a sport, or a cult, and fan/cult loyalty is the highest virtue, no matter WTF the team/cult is saying (to be followed reflexively like good sheeple) or doing.
Trash has certainly exposed his base and the 80% of Repugs who STILL approve of him.
Fair enough
Treason consists of levying war against the US or giving tangible help to its enemies. Hard to see how ST posts qualify.
what behavior?
what ignorance?
I'm aware of the legal definition. posting on online forums doesn't clear the bar.
djohn2008 thinks I'm a traitor because I won't call ST posters traitors.
let the chips fall.
But dat Clinton Cash etc
djohn is re ed. He's the exact same person as Chris. The only difference is the side of the fence he keeps himself behind.
lmao no doubt right?
I thought it was Repug racism when Repug pols and Repug supporters were clearly trashing their hated knitter Obama while preferring, praising white Putin (who is also a Repug-compatible racist, LGBT-hater, etc).
Now we see that Putin and HIS mafiya have been (trying to) compromising Repugs for years, apart from Repug racism.
Seeing that Putin is a military, economic, America-attacking enemy, the Repugs are ing TRAITORS to America just as they are traitors to the Common Good by whoring themselves to the oligarchy.

House Republicans are literally trying to 'break' the law—as in cripple the DOJ and FBI
Freedom Caucus chair Mark Meadows's new tact is to push for a federal audit of Robert Mueller under the guise of oversight in order to get an unredacted copy of the "scope memo," which lays out the boundaries of his Russia investigation.
The Washington Postwrites:
Meadows, speaking Thursday during a taping of C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers” that is to air Sunday, said he believed the audit is required under federal law and could not be completed without an unredacted copy of the memo written in August 2017 by Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein. [...]
Meadows and fellow Freedom Caucus member Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) has pushed for weeks to get unfettered access to the memo, but the Justice Department has so far refused them access.
As the New York Times reported a couple weeks ago:
Mr. Rosenstein and top F.B.I. officials have come to suspect that some lawmakers were using their oversight authority to gain intelligence about that investigation so that it could be shared with the White House.
Meadows’s latest bid to undermine the probe is part of a battery of outright assaults Republicans have unleashed on the Justice Department, the FBI and the Mueller investigation.
Meadows, House Intelligence Chair Devin Nunes, and their compatriots have threatened both Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and also Russia-recused Attorney General Jeff Sessions with being held in contempt of Congress and impeached.
This complete and total breakdown of oversight norms, practices and cooperation
between lawmakers and our nation’s top law enforcement agencies has taken place
with the explicit backing of House Speaker Paul Ryan,
who sided with Nunes & Co. yet again this week.
Ryan said he thought the Justice Department should have answered Nunes’s questions on the matter much earlier.
“This request is perfectly appropriate within the scope of the committee’s investigation, and I hope and believe and expect that they’ll be complied with.”
History should never forget the corrupt governing practices Paul Ryan presided over during his short time as speaker, and
the long-lasting harm he has done to the ins ution he took an oath to lead and the country he swore to protect.
