Around 2000 or 2001 a friend and I were in the gym, and we decided to try and recreate this shot. I caught the ball, did a half spin on one leg and a dribble and launched the 3, all without putting my heels down. Textbook, just like the real shot. Swished that mofo.

Afterward I said that I was 100% lifetime on that shot and would never try it again. Still haven't.


Oh yeah, in 2005 or so we tried to recreate the 0.4 shot. Don't ask me why, I have no idea why we would want to re-live that moment. We even got a third friend to play the part of Manu and defend the shot. Each of us tried it like 15 times and we all missed every single one.

I don't remember why I brought that up, but the moral of the story is Derek Fisher.
