If the reports were true that the Clippers balked at paying CP0 the max and that's why he wanted to leave, it's the rare example of the Clippers making the smart, foresighted decision even when it's initially unpopular. Our franchise would be screwed for a long time with this washed-up version of CP0 on a supermax contract.
