Your track EXPERT trying to stick a guy on a 4x1 relay who doesn't belong there. Which tells us all he doesn't get the 4x1 relay.
And, on sprint forums that 9.85 by Fasuba was never respected, the reason being the guy lost a lot and never really backed it up. The thought was some wind reading problems.

Looking at pela2 site, this guy had a PB that had been bettered on more than 1120 prevous occasions. He ran an al ude-assisted 9,9 HAND time last year, and an open 10,09 two years ago.
How does one improve from 10,09 to a 9,84 (=4, =6) in his event AFTER recording his first sub-10 (a 9,92 in a heat less than two hours earlier), and, consequently, leap-frogging Gatlin:s previous best PB in the process?
Incredible. (leave it up to the imagination to ask the "what" behind that staement). What is the best over/under 10,00-second improvement in history (omitting wind-assisted and/or dismissed times)?

Why would a guy who knows Nigerian sprinting leave the national record holder off their relay? Yep, that 9.85 was bogus and Fauba wasn't as good as those I had there.
Daneil Effiong was a 200m stud, which is what ya want on that long second leg because they can push the zone.

In the track world NOBODY bought that 9.85, SFS not knowing this stuff knows nothing about that.
