People are saying that the U.S. and Trump might get played by North Korea which would make us look foolish. They must not have been paying attention the last 14 months. We've got nothing left to lose as it pertains to our dignity.
Looks like there was little dignity left to lose after all.

    commemorative coins and break-up letters.

What the does this even mean?

There is no way we let China control our shipping in this area to the detriment of trade.
Unless of course Chinese government keeps funding Trump real estate developments. I'm sure the administration will look the other way.

It amazing how Americans will rationalize anything no matter how good the news just to appropriate their hatred for Trump. Nation wide cognitive dissonance perfectly programmed by MSM. SAD!
    What's the good news,Chris?

That China got what it wanted (according to CC) or that DJT sold out our regional allies (again, according to CC) -- for what exactly? What did we get?

As Trump-Kim talking date closes in, U.S. agents give stink eye to nuclear test site demolition

assuming some third nation can be arm-twisted into paying for the hotel rooms of Kim Jong-un and his entourage, negotiators from Washington and Pyongyang will sit down in Singapore June 12

    Schwartz, by contrast,

got from Trump an almost unheard-of half of the $500,000 advance from Random House
and also half of the royalties. And it didn’t even take a lot of haggling.

    “He basically just agreed,”

Schwartz told me in an email,

meaning Schwartz ever since has brought in millions of dollars more of royalties and Trump has brought in millions of dollars less.

It’s a telling example, Harvard Business School negotiating professor Deepak Malhotra said in a recent interview. “What should have been a great deal on a book about negotiation actually is one of the most interesting pieces of evidence that he’s not a good negotiator.”

But these past 16 months of Trump’s presidency have shown that whatever skills Trump thinks he acquired over the course of his business career haven’t necessarily translated to his work in the White House.

The failed repeal-and-replace health care negotiations,

bungled efforts to get funding from Mexico for his promised border wall,

the pulling out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership and

    the Iran nuclear deal—

Trump has proven to be more adept at breaking deals than making deals.

Trump was, and still is, they say,
    a confident,
    compe ive,
    aggressive,
    impulsive,
    zero-sum,
    win-at-all-costs,
    transactional,
    unpredictable,
    often underinformed and
    ill-prepared,
    gut-following,
    ego-driven,
    want-it-and-want-it-now negotiator.

His self-burnished image as a tip-top deal-maker long has obscured an actual record that is far more mixed,

pocked with moves and acquisitions that scratched a passing itch but created massive financial problems later.

Kim's tunnel explosions a goodwill gesture? Not so fast

appears to have been little more than a propaganda effort for the world's cameras.

intelligence has increasingly shown that the public spectacle may have amounted to little more than a show,

according to US intelligence and international arms control officials.

No weapons inspectors or nonproliferation experts were invited to witness the detonation,

and now initial assessments indicate that the show was essentially a charade.
the explosions were not strong enough to destroy the tunnels,

"The explosions seem to have been too small" for scientists to have discerned any significant geologic activity such as collapsing tunnels, an international arms control official who follows North Korea closely told CNN.

"The fact that journalists were reportedly only around 500 meters from the explosions is a good indication that these were small blasts.

And the amount of dust leads us to believe that they were quite superficial,"

    https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/01/polit...06-01T22:13:01

Kim already defrauded The Fraud Don The Con Trash, illegit so-called President

And apparently, that area has already been destroyed by underground nuke explosions.

Have you any sense of how many times we have been through these charades at all?

The new approach is to heap praise about fat boy as a wonderful dear leader and see if he bites because the plethora of sanctions (which both China and Russia violate) might actually hurt him enough personally. The key here is South Korea and Japan are going along in a more aggressive manner, especially SK. These talks never take place without SK intervening with meaning.

Of course we all hope that NK destroys all their nukes and missilery verifiably. Familiarity with who we are dealing with says he’s got his nukes and delivery systems and will try to seek peace while increasing his wealth thru dropping of sanctions, maintaining his starvation nation’s capability of raiding SK, and then threaten nuking with any response.

Check me as very skeptical but hopeful.

Just one day after President Donald Trump announced the US-North Korea summit is back on, the US and Singapore are looking for ways to bear the cost of Kim Jong Un's accommodation, including the North Korean leader's preference for a five-star, $6,000 a night hotel.

The Washington Post reports that paying for North Korea's accommodation during the June 12 summit would conflict with US Treasury Department sanctions and require a waiver to be signed to temporarily bypass them.

Rocket Man out-dueling the POTUS. No surprise, since Trump handed all of the leverage to Kim Jong-Un by throwing himself victory parades before the meeting even happened. Now he has to follow through.

Trump is apparently planning to wing it in his big meeting with Kim Jong Un

Rather than studiously prepare for a summit with North Korea's Kim Jong Un,

President Trump apparently plans to fake it till he makes it.

    But
Politico reports that Trump hasn't even been consulting with his national security team to strategize,

skipping planning meetings and preferring improvisation over careful preparation.

Trump has taken a more "unstructured" approach, choosing not to attend or arrange NSC meetings.

    http://theweek.com/speedreads/777593...ng-kim-jong-un

Trash's "deals" have been do ented and analyzed as:

"I must win and you must lose, but I don't win until I have really hurt you, and you take on all the risk and downside"

There is no win-win, no mutual benefit in Trash's sick so-called brain.

U.S. officials prepare to thwart Chinese spying at Singapore summit

The Chinese have used everything from bugged hotel keys to “friendship” pins to spy on Americans —

and they’re getting better at it all the time.
