Durant, Kerr, Steph and Draymond all choked down the stretch
Harden did too but Gordon and Cp3 daved them
Yeah but Harden was a pussy for 48 minutes. Inexcusable for GSW to not win this one. And yet they get rewarded for their ting the bed with likely a season ending injury to Paul.

I said in another post that dribble and chuck ball has conditioned NBA players to play that way from opening tip on and thus, NBA players don't know how to effectively perform end game offense anymore.
its all drive and kick ...

I'm glad that Chris Paul that murdered the Spurs a few years ago in the Playoffs still exists, too bad he might he's injured now tho, Warriors always catching a lucky break.

I have a lot invested on Rockets. +700 le, +300 conference, +180 for the series. I'd take Warriors now at + money

CP0 was a net negative imo. Ballhogging little prick along with Harden both cost the Rockets.
Not sure why you are all negative Nancy with him being out.

    Addition by subtraction.

As if isos or top of the key pick and rolls weren't the bread and butter of end of game offense. That's all they do nowadays, they should know how to perform it.

They should consult the great Emmanuel Ginobili on how to close out games, tbh.

That is the opposite of what he should be saying. Durbeta is so insecure, he's been trying to carry the Warriors these playoffs so he can pretend they need him to win, and it's been a disaster. He's ruined their offense with his heroball. He is hurting his team by playing this way.

And let's be honest: Durbeta is a choke artist. In a close game, down the stretch, he's scared of the moment. The last thing he or anyone else on the Warriors needs to be doing right now is telling him he's the closer.

What he should be saying is, "Steph, it's your team. You carry us to victory."

nah i blame Kerr ...they have become overly reliant on KD ...
but kerr says he loves his matchups ...
but again closing doesnt mean he needs to play hero ball.
the other night when he forced that pass to Klay, if he drove hard and then passed, Klay is wide ass open.
Mj was a great closer but still passed to Kerr and Paxson...

Screen at the top of the key:

-Defender goes under the screen---> dagger three
-Defender goes over the screen----> dagger dunk
    -Double team----------------------------------->assist
-Big man challenging at the rim-------> drawn foul

    Easy peasy.

Too bad injuries really derailed Eric Gordon's potential, dude was really good before he got hurt all the time.

Kerr straight-up told Durbeta at one point tonight to stop playing heroball and start passing the ball. And guess what Durbeta did on the very next possession? He ran another iso for himself.

I don't blame Kerr. At this point, Durbeta's uncoachable. He's too caught up in his insecure quest to "prove the haters wrong." He's going to play heroball all game, every game, in the hopes that he can make it look like he's carrying a team that needs him to win.

So much for the "Warriors ruined the NBA" narrative. Every possible Finals outcome is now live
