True. but cavs get a little credit for that too and ...
their two projected leading scorers and guys who are proven scorers were out ...
that being said ... dem.
I've watched thousands of playoff games, live and on video of games since the 1960s, and it's safe to say, I've never seen worse shot selection in a game where everything mattered like this.
Literally, the Celtics played as bad, or worse, than the average hoodrat pickup game street hoopers. Take turns dribbling around and jacking the first possible bad 3 you can get off. And if they get an offensive rebound? Don't even pass, just dribble back out and chuck another bad 3. Oh. My. God. LeBron got off SOOOOOOOOOO easy.

Did you watch harden last night in the third quarter?
Yes, I mentioned in the other thread I wanted to throw something at the TV the play was so bad like a YMCA game.
Hayward is a net negative. Irving is erratic but elite when he's on. They definitely could have used the latter tonight, though.
I was addicted to NBATV in 2002 because it came free that year with my grandma's cable subscription. I probably watched 500+ old games that year alone.
"Welcome Back to the NBA's Greatest Games, tonight we will re-live one of basketball's greatest matchups as it happened"...
Yes, but he made a couple, and he didn't singlehandedly chuck them out. The problem for Houston last night was mainly the turnovers. They should have had that game won by halftime last night had they even played an average clean game. Should have been up 25+. They squandered such a golden opportunity.
If every series in every season went 7 games (not even counting the years that they didn't even play best of 7), it would take 20 years to get 2100 games. So you've watched thousands of playoff games, you've watched at least every playoff game for the past 30 years because the large majority of series don't go 7 games. But I'll give you 2100 as the number for 20 years of games and I call bull .
I'd love to get some analysis on 1960s ball, buddy..when did they learn to use their other hand to dribble a ball?
Other hand was for smacking hoes and beating black people
and smoking cigarettes between quarters..
I was going to say that. I imagine them on a "fast break" with a fresh one hanging.
Alright then I've probably watched 500-1000 in total. But hyperbole, folks.
It's true. Remember the Jazz Clippers series last year.
Idk, but I've seen some of the old Wilt and Russell era games they used to show on NBATV and I never liked the three to make two rule. Which of course was imposed to account for Wilt's horrid shotput free throws which he made around half of.
The ones I remember most were the one with Jerry West's halfcourt prayer and the one with Don Nelson's shot that bounced around and went in and the Celtics won game 7 on the road in LA.
I feel like there's a poster who could school us on this Avante
Terrible shot selection. Not a lot of penetration and just a lot of chucking. Brad Stevens never seemed to tell them to go to the bucket (Tatum's dunk aside).
He probably knows basketball players from the 1940's and is eminently qualified.![]()
This wasn't even the worst shot selection of the 2018 conference finals
Frauden and Durbeta have been chucking up some straight garbage.
Not sure if Avante even watches basketball honestly. Or maybe he'll make up a false story about the SoCal team that won an NBA championship in 1943.
