I think the point was that he was a contributor and a vital piece of that team winning like DG was back then and just laid a couple of eggs when the team needed him most. Green did his job in those last two games way better than anyone else did. He forced the Cavs to focus on him, which gave Tim and Kawhi easy looks. If a role-player can create space for a star, that's amazing. Plus, you should give a what Green did in the first five games, because the Spurs won three of those. It was never his job to carry SA to victory.
