This was funny
I'm just shocked the game didn't end in a 0-0 tie like it usually does, tbh.
Povertyball
It's almost that time, where every 4 years americans pretend they care about refugeeball for a few weeks.
Don't know if we'll see the interest this year since the men's national team isn't going.
The Superbowl of Mexico.
Glad it is World Cup summer season, tbh..2nd greatest pure sporting show on earth after the Olympics.
Hopefully it makes up for this boring ass season of NBA..Fatball fans are invited to the Soccer forum, tbh..
The problem this time there's no Americans. Wake me up when the knockout stage starts.
Nikka the olmypics isnt even close to the world cup in terms of passion, viewrship, interest etc.
No one really cares or remebers who clenched their butts more in route to a gold medal.
I disagree about the passion aspect, as well (on the players side, at least). After a failure, an Olympian can't console themselves with their millions and mansions and worldwide fame and support (unless you're Bolt or Phelps) like an athlete in any other popular professional sport can. Furthermore, they have to wait another 4 years for a chance to redeem themselves, which might never happen since they'll be out of their prime most likely. For a professional athlete, there's always the season to look forward to, and while there might not be redeeming a World Cup lossl, a league trophy, CL trophy, etc helps the take the sting off.The most recent summer games, held in Rio de Janiero in 2016, drew in an audience of 3.6 billion viewers.
2014 FIFA World Cup™ reached 3.2 billion viewers,
I knew you were gonna come up with silly stats.
No one watches the olympics beyond a 5 minute glance.
Even NHL is better than the olympics.
Not to mention 3.6 Billion olympics..I can bet you a crazy chunk of that is from Olympic soccer

How can there be "passion" when guys like Messi quit on their own country at the slightest bit of adversity? Povertyball actresses are about as mentally weak as Durbeta.
Im positive a large chunk of 3.6 Billion is always within 5 sports.
Football
Dream Team
100 Meter
Swimming
A large part of the numbers is still achieved thanks to football.
I don't disgaree about player passion though.
I'm sure its huge for them but the atmosphere of "passion" pales in comparison to the world cup. Its just not close.
The 100m Final is the bread and butter event of the Olympics. Track and field is pretty big in Europe. Quit handwaving to make soccer look better. The Olympics are a huge event, whether you like it or not. in' soccer fans, "Worship no other sport (god) but ME." Like a cult.
Isn’t there a sub forum for povertyball? How about of all the third worlders and sexuals go discuss it there
"sport" decided by this ... for the championship no less, at the highest level. not some random beer league

That's better than their usual 0-0 tie I guess.
Real fooball >>>>>>> any american sport
Of course champion league was more passionate than american sport.
The american fans can barely watch an entire game without going to the toilet for bowl movements![]()
