Lebron isn't stupid... He is coming to the Spurs... The media would never report on us as an option because they don't want him here... If they don't even want Kawhi here, u think they're gonna be touting us as a possibility? Lol
If LeBron wants to be a Spur that bad it's gonna happen.

No wonder why they got hammered in OT, no communication in that huddle. That video speaks volumes, not surprised they got blown out in game 2. Cavs will probably wind up getting swept.
If JR threw it out and Lebron just missed. You come into OT with a different mindset. They were defeated right there and then because they know you have to play perfect to win against them. And do it 4 times.

Yeah, you can even see it in Lebrons play last night. He was like "why in the am I gonna kill myself like in game 1 again?" He didnt play with nearly as much fire. I think mentally he is throwin in the towel.

I would actually feel bad for jr smith if he wasn't CONSISTENTLY doing the dumbest . At the end of the 1st half, he went for a steal instead of actually playing defense that gave curry a wide open 3. His career is based off dumb on and off the court so that's why I wasn't shocked

you better hope not since the kiwistans on here would quickly come to hate him as he took over on court and off court as the dominant Spur personality and force.

relax, he is not going to SAS.
This. It doesn't matter how much sense it makes, he will rather try somewhere else. Again, he doesn't need rings to be considered goat by many.

The Spurs have had more heart breaks than Lebron. We had .04, we had Allen three off an errand rebound, we had Chris Paul with a last second jumper. I mean, no guarantee he doesn't come here and have someone run out the clock with a tied score. Who's most likely to do it? Murray?

Yeah you could see all the fight in Lebron leave him in that clip. I don't think I have ever seen him just mentally check out like that before. I think the homecrowed will help put some fire back into him but he is completely done with his team.

I haven't watched the finals... things like that are part of the reason. I end up getting angry at the reffing when I really don't even care about the outcome or cheer for either team.

Basically, I derive no satisfaction, entertainment or pleasure and just end up angry or frustrated.

Yeah, if the Spurs aren't playing, I never watch the NBA anymore. And last season, I didn't watch the Spurs every game like I used to.

At least Murray will slow down or affect Curry’s game and tempo. Kawhi will shut down Thompson all day, LeBron cancels Durant. Gay and Co takes care of 2nd team. A resurgent LMA can score on Draymond. Pops>>>Kerr. Game Spurs.

Part of the reason why LeBron to the Rockets doesn't make sense, he will still be asked to be primary defender in the starting lineup.

If LeBron can work things out with Kyrie imo Boston is his best chance at continuing this NBA Finals streak and getting closer to beating Warriors. Boston can just trade Gordon Hayward to Cavs and they got LeBron without breaking up the core of the team. Of course all this is on Kyrie being cool with it and odds are no.

So that leaves Spurs with Kawhi, LMA, Pop and possibly another player they could sign as his second best option to getting closer to beating Warriors.
Ainge trades Irving to the Spurs for Kawhi, and problem solved.

Not only that, the Celtics would immediatly jump over GS as the favourite to win it all.

The best chance was on the Cavs if he acted like a ign adult and was not a complete bag.

Moderator was annoying af. First time I’ve wanted someone to stfu so Chris Broussard could talk.

Great video though, affirms what I’ve been thinking putting myself in LBJs shoes and looking at the pros and cons:

    Philadelphia
Pros: Great young talent with pieces, leastern conference, solid coach and city.
Cons: You can’t teach championship experience, no matter the talent. That teams & lebrons trendlines are opposites, would only give them a few years window max to truly compete imo.

    Houston
Pros: great talent with Harden and CP3. Got to game 7 WC.
Cons: I believe LBJ is smart enough to see through Houston. CP3 will most likely not be on the floor with some sort of injury. Harden is an iso player through and through. They’d have to move Eric Gordon and other assets. D’Antoni is literally terrible.

    San Antonio
Pros: Pop, Kawhi, LMA. Done. Immediately compete for the championship as well as all ~7 years left in his career. Monstrous defense that matches up perfectly against GSW, and don’t get me started on the offense. Finally play for a HOF coach. Fill an immediate void as the leader of the franchise.
Cons: LBJ will need to personally affirm the status of Kawhis commitment to the Spurs, Kawhis relationship with Pop + players, and Kawhis actual long-term health. That will all need to be cleared before any sort of talks are real. Lastly, San Antonio is a small market.

    Other teams
Not a chance. He has all the money in the world (with no end in sight post-basketball), and has redeemed himself in Cleveland. He is visually exhausted with all the losing with no help, he’s ready to win.

I don't think Jackson meant it disrespectfully, but I almost spit up when he said Tony's done.

Why? You don't think he is or what?
