Hadn't thought about that; but yea about 85 percent of those bets be on Vegas. Though, the really big betters it may still be for Washington.
My point is that goalies aren't as prevalent as they used to be.
Quick is the odd one out, but today with a stacked roster and average goalie you can win the Cup.
Just ask Fleury.

Even with those odds, I can almost guarantee they're making money. They don't tell you how much money people put on the favorites (the field), which is pretty standard. Sure, they'll make much more overall probably if Washington wins instead of Vegas though. With the Golden Knights holding a one-game advantage heading into Game 2 Wednesday night, William Hill could be three Vegas wins away from losing close to $2 million. One bettor is in for $1,000 on a 50-1 ticket. Another has $200 at 200-1. And there are many smaller bets that were placed at 250-1.
Casinos all along the Strip are facing similar cir stances, and the total liability in Las Vegas has been estimated at $5 million to $7 million, which would likely mark the city's biggest loss on futures betting.
And Vegas made a ton on Game 4 and these are the many days they have that help them for rainy days, tbh. The house gets there's. I never cry over their losses.
Literally the only hockey game I'd watch all year is the clincher. Go white guys who have been trying really hard for a long time over white guys who just started this year!
Totally unnecessary tripping or slashing penalty there by Vegas; don't think the beat defender realized he had a defender behind him.
Heck of an equalizer by the black guy who had the game winning goal in Game 4, too. Smith-Pelley totally ting on the ST white guy schtick.

Vegas playing like noobs in the final period; on the verge of blowing their chance for a Game 6.
"And it pops out of play, right nearby one of fifteen Elvises."
Announcer probably waiting all game to use that line.
"jacked off the puck though"
Don't think the announcer practiced that one.
RD fanning twice on shots in about a thirty-second span in the final minute and a half. SMH
This one game was better than the entire NBA season. Happy for Ovi and the Caps.
Ovi wasnt even the best player in the series for the caps.
Also... Doc Emrick's call at the end was horrible. Almost Joe Buck-esque in how monotone it was. The Capitals are a franchise that was synonymous with choking and heartbreak for decades, and he managed to put less emotion into announcing their Stanley Cup victory than he does into announcing a second-period shot on goal in a January regular season game. Bring back Gary Thorne.
happy for Ovie, wish Stockton and Malone had this moment in 98
Subban almost won the Cup last year with Nashville after being traded
Smith Pelley and Lars Eller win the Cup.
