Ok so this was horrible defending by Saudi Arabia. Pretty much down to that. Strats were pretty suicidal as well, playing passing passing in the middle inconsequential with no depth and defending with 1 at the back.
The last 2 goals were stupid beyond belief. The 3rd goal the tallest guy comes in and you know they will just kick the ball on high for him to head. Not sure what they were thinking there.
Very poor performance from Saudi Arabia - not worth for a world cup opener. Russia looked much better than what they really are.
The 5 goals differential serves as a tie-breaker. Let's see what Egypt and Uruguay do but they will need to score a lot of goals against Saudi Arabia as well

Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia are the bottom three ranked teams in the WC, not including the host. And we saw what seventy ranked Russia did to those tooth picks who had no business being in this World Cup today.

Syria is as good as they've been, and that's admirable for a war-torn country; but come on now.
Iran, Aussie, and Korea can be formidable on a lot of days; but CONCACAF has plenty of teams in that boat; and Costa Rica, Mexico, USA have all made good runs in recent World Cups though.

Go for it then. Bets will be closing on Group B soon. I am trying to find places that do get out of the group bets. The page I'm looking at has Peru +900, but I think that is to win the group. I don't think that's great odds when they're in a group with France and two other quality teams, tbh.

Switzerland at +600 is a great bet. There is no doubt in my mind that they're gonna play Brazil tough. They've looked really good in the last two major tourneys too.
Poland at +175 is solid too. To my mind it's even odds maybe even in their favor between them and Columbia (+120). So that +75 is just extra money added on, tbh.
At those odds, you could even bet on both and then still make free money when Japan and Senegal predictably suck. It's basically like betting -400 or so that Japan or Senegal won't win the group.
F*ck the Brazil hype (4-1). Germany (11-2), Spain (13-2), and France (15-2) is where it's at, tbh. Even though I picked Spain for my bracket, I've soured on them due to their drama. Germany/France is the two I'd bet on.
