Would you rather have a sure thing coming off the injury he's coming off (is he even healthy yet tbh?) for one year and then he's guaranteed to walk. Or would you have a player like Luka who isn't a known commodity but he's assuming to be healthy and will have a cheap contract for multiple years.

If he tries to say he'll sign an extension if traded to a specific team then that team will need to have something good to offer.

So I was several months late technically. I staryes a thread back before the trade deadline that Kawhi would be traded. The mods removed my thread for whatever reason. I knew back then that the Spurs were strongly considering trading him. I also stated that he was being viewed as somewhat as a cancer in the locker room.
I'm surprised still because the Spurs obviously wanted to make it work, but obviously he doesn't want to be here. He had dinner with Murray and Pop and hardly spoke at the time. His uncle was in his ear pushing him to sit. His uncle put it in his head about going to L.A and now it's coming to pass.
Just wanted to check in and say Kawhi. Could never have foreseen such y behavior, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, given the sense of en lement modern NBA players have.
