Please highlight this mistake PATFO made with Kawhi. I want you to be clear.
I'll be first in line at Walmart when ESPN's do entary "The rise and fall of the San Antonio Spurs" is released on blue ray.
    Itll be a 30 for 30.
What if I told you Pops relationship with star players destroyed what it once help to build

Kawhi doesn't like the Spurs roster, but he's demanding a trade to a team that won 12 less games and hasn't made the playoffs in 5 years? Stop..

He/his uncle wants him in LA and maybe he will form a super team there with LeBron..maybe he felt betrayed by Pop and Parker, that's it..
That team that won 12 less games swept the Spurs in the season series in resounding fasshion. You really think that a team that's younger, more athletic and has enough cap space to sign two max free agents is in a less than desirable position compared to a team that has practically no cap space for the next three years, is much older and tripped their way into the seventh seed last postseason? I should stop....

To me, it means offer the Super Max and we will sign.
Maybe so. But if I'm Pop at this point, after this unprofessional move by Kawhi's reps, I tell him...DO NOT WANT. You will be moved at a time and to a place of our choosing. If you walk from there, you just cost yourself another $40M. So your little stunt cost you $80M. You ed with the wrong team. So go sit in a corner until I tell you that you've been traded, or that I need you in the game, capiche?

So, the next question is "Will the face-to-face happen at all?"

I'd say yes. But who knows with Uncle Dennis and Car Trunk agent....

stop it with the corny tough guy act. Kawhi has the power here. Even if he gets traded to a franchise he'll just join the Lakers in free agency. And kawhi will easily make back the money he lost with endorsements in a big market.

What about his tendinopathy? You know, that mysterious one-in-a-billion freak injury that is undetectable by all modern medical techniques? The same injury that limited him to only 9 games?

Why don't we hear any teams being concerned about that? Probably because, like me, they can smell that "tendinopathy" bull a mile away. That fool be healthy. And everyone knows it.

You would figure he owes it to pop to at least sit and talk with him. I mean geez, pop stood up for kawhi so many times throughout his career. Trading his favorite player in George hill for kawhi, to constantly saying kawhi was best player in NBA a couple years ago when others would say it's Westbrook james curry or Durant and for giving him the keys to the franchise to be the future of this very successful team.

TRUTH FUKIN BOMB. Was about to post the same thing. Pop ed up sending his weasel Parker to throw kawhi under the bus. It was cheap and unnecessary.
Parker was only defending the Spurs doctors that have taken care of these players and never been questioned on their medical treatments! Give me a ing break! The mute never speaks and the media were like vultures asking Pop constantly on the status of Kawhi, WTH was he's supposed to say? Of course he could only answer that their doctors cleared him to play but the mute was in NY getting 2nd and 3rd opinions and I wouldn't be surprised that leach of an uncle was whispering in his ear that he shouldn't trust the Spurs doctors! That leach uncle has an agenda wants him in a large market so he can steal more money off of him! Mute is too stupid to realize he's being used and this leach will take all of his money in the end! So Pop or Parked did not up you morons! Geez

If I'm pop, unless I have a blockbuster deal, I tell Kawhi to try it. And if he does, sue him for two year's salary. Then be sure to show him the quote from his Uncle Dennis wherein he said Kawhi was almost 100%, 96% or 97% to be exact.

PATFO played them to get that admission on the record.

So your theory is that Kawhi planned this all out after the Mills and Gasol signings?

    Completely delusional and illogical, tbh..

$80M? Right. He's got one more big endorsement contract left in him. Which he already had a sizable offer from Jordan brand while he was here.

So yeah, he would probably pull in an extra 20-25M in ad revenue out in LA. But then take the higher taxes out of that and see how it impacts his dedication to the game he loved, while he's zipping around doing ads. Summary, you're ing nutz if you think he's making up $80M out there. I'd just leave you with one reminder here, you're talking about the media personality akin to a ing brick wall. About the most you can hope for as far as range and character out of this guy is what HEB got out of him.

Yep. Amin will be right there. Spurs didn't respect him enough. Didn't show him the respect he deserved. Blah blah blah

Seems most likely imo. We’re not trading him to LA.
