Saw this coming from a mile away tbh. I don't really care so much about what Kawhi was thinking, but I definitely knew what Spurs were thinking. Pop was pretty much as good as gone when Spurs FO decided to start cleaning house by having the assistant coaches interview with other teams. Spurs fans were in denial, but if you take a look at the facts, all signs were pointing to it.

Here's to hoping Kawhi falling back to mediocrity once he goes to any other team. This will only make Pop look twice as good before he retires. Kawhi is a chump, and he was fronting all along since he joined the Spurs.

Uh, The assistants leaving isn't cleaning house. Pop has ALWAYS encouraged his assistants (and FO personnel) to leave for advancement.
