My garbage ass team swept yours. Lonzo even busted 6 threes in your balloon knots during one of our 3 Ws.
This is what Laker Nation has been reduced to, a team so ty they have to brag about a couple regular season games

Yeah he went 6 for 6 as I recall. A feat he wont repeat the rest of his career unless it's vs the Spurs.

Your guys will continue to show out and be a .500 team unless you get a big free agent to boost them.

Celtics young talent already took them to the Eastern Conference finals.

The Spurs aren't the Cavs. And the Celtics were offering the Brooklyn pick, which was seen as an extremely valuable asset. Not the same situation at all.
One conference rival traded within the conference with another conference rival. The only difference is this one is in the Western conferencePERIOD. It's the same.

So Klay is worse than Kuzma + Lolnzo?
Yes. Easily. And I hate the idea of Lonzo.

No it isn't, because it isn't happening.

Part of the problem with Klay(not that the Warriors would even make this trade, since it would make their team worse IMO) is that he's already due for a massive deal, in addition to his age..

Maybe if Pop strictly wanted to win now, but I'd rather acquire young players who don't command a max deal for a minute(not interested in the Lakers deal)..

, only Tatum, Sacramento and Philly's deals sound appealing, so far..
You always have so much bust potential in the draft. I'm willing to tank for draft picks when the team would be going nowhere anyways but giving up a future MVP for a pick is sketchy. Don't get me wrong, it's worlds better than taking the Lakers trash, but Tatum is the best realistic option by a mile.

You make it sound like the Spurs were not a playoff team. Were you not?

We played the Dubs tough, split with Boston, beat Houston, etc etc. It's not just the Spurs losing to " ty teams" as you put it. My baby Lakers were better than you want to give us credit for. It's cool tho

The Lakers have been out of the playoffs so long, they think "sweeps" can happen in the regular season.

You can't appreciate getting an allstar while also blocking the Lakers? Plus your man gets a few rings out of it.

    that shiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

Horford was an all star. Played huge role for them all year. Marcus Smart, Marcus Morris, and even Baynes - these are not 1st or 2nd year players as s you're insinuating - all played huge for Boston all year. FOH with that nonsense son

Here's a question. If the Spurs trade Kawhi to some team he doesn't like, can he torpedo the deal by "throwing" the physical? I mean is it more than just saying his thigh still hurts when they ask him to do some basic leg bends, etc? After sitting out a season to get what he wants (and was suddenly 97% healthy and would be ready for training campwhen he thought he was about to be Supermaxed), could he turn around and still cry injury at the last moment? And if he did, couldn't it scare away the other team in the trade?

It would be funny to ship Leonard to Golden State as a big you to the league
Just make sure Zaza is part of the deal and let him do his thing the first time we play them...

Getting Ingram and Kuzma plus a pick from the Lakers wouldn't be so bad. No way the Spurs should (or would) clean up the Lakers' mess with Ball.

You want to talk about sweeping the Spurs but the centerpiece of your supposed young talent you're trying to sell Spurs fans on only played one of the three games.

ESPN reporting Brown, Rozier, Marcus Morris plus a draft pick is still available. That would be awesome. We still have leeway to go after free agents this summer while rebuilding and staying compe ive. Sending him West doesn't make sense. Sending him East gives it a better chance he stays East which is what the Spurs really want. Not drama 4x a year and early in playoffs.
If it’s the 2019 Sacto pick I think that’s at least on par with the Philly package around Fultz+parts+ 10.

So the baseline offers appear to be:

    1. Clips: Harris, 12, 13

    2. Boston: Brown + “Pick” + parts

    3. Phil: Fultz + Saric + 10 + parts
    (which is rumored Lebron offer)

    4. LAL: Deng, Ingram, Kuzma, Hart

That Sacto pick is juicy AF if the Kings really offer it tbh. You gotta take that and get rid of this and the clowns around him. Trade away Lamarcus (attach Patty/Pau) for an additional pick and you're looking at 3 picks in the top 20 of a good draft with a ton of capspace going forward.

How would fans feel if Kawhi re-signed now? I mean, he’s a top player and no matter what nothing changes that. But man, I don’t know how I would look at him now.

Who showed out during the playoffs? I seem to recall it was Rozier's especially, and also Tatum's coming out party.

The Lakers pick would be a negative since a team with LeBron and Kawhi on it isn't picking any lower than maybe 28. And Ingram is a china doll. Sounds like trading an MVP caliber player for a couple of used condoms and a bottle of mad dog.

Nope. Ya'll have Murray. We'd send you something like Kuz, Ingram, 2019 1st and fillers. Something like that.

Can't ask for much more than that. Why? Kiwi is disgruntled (which lowers his value - see MVPau trade as evidence) a he just missed a whole year due to injury. Now if he is 100% and not hurt, different argument altogether.
