Pop is gone in a few years. The time to win is now. Young talent helps us how?

I’m serious - If SA trades with LA and takes Deng I quit.
Unless we get every laker first for the next 10 years, ditto.

If Boston gets Kawhi the karma of the ‘97 lottery will have come full circle.
I’ll take that Karma every time. Duncan > Kawhi.

The world doesn't revolve about Pop's career plan.

Pop shouldn't cave into these ing clowns an inch tbh. If PHX or SAC calls with an offer of one of the top 2 picks then you take it.

Otherwise, you wait out Free Agency when all the big pieces are in place and test Uncle got's resolve.

go easy on my INS LkrFan. He's gonna end up living in Palmdale (if he doesn't already) since Boyle Heights is getting gentrified as tbh

I do wonder what the downstream effects of all this will be. Have to think Gay, Green are opting out now, no? And if so does LMA start talking about wanting out again?

How would fans feel if Kawhi re-signed now? I mean, he’s a top player and no matter what nothing changes that. But man, I don’t know how I would look at him now.
I'd orgasm if he stayed here. Hes a top 5 player

Do you really want compare franchises? Here's a hint, don't
I'm in my 30's and didn't start watching basketball until the early 90's. In my lifetime I have seen the Spurs win an equal amount of les as the Lakers. I have seen the Spurs have more winning seasons than the Lakers along with a higher winning percentage. I have seen the Spurs only make 1 lottery appearance in my lifetime while the Lakers have made several lottery appearances. Overall the Spurs have been better than the Lakers during my life. I don't care about what the Lakers did before the '90's because I didn't witness any of that stuff.

They should let kawhi get healthy and play 15 games to start the season or so hopefully averaging like 30 points then his value would go back up then trade him. Not deal him now when he has the chronic injury dragging his value down

Number of games played by Kiwi these last few years:

    64
    58
    66
    64
    72
    74
    9

He surely gets hurt a lot. So...http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=zst59zs

Can't expect a Kang's ransom for a disgruntled injury prone player tbh

Fair take. I was just messing with him tbh. But for these farmers to clown on the Lakers because of the last 5 years of turmoil, while ignoring their history, is akin to playing checkers, not chess.

Ingram is a B-level prospect at best and Kuzma is a bigger Jordan Clarkson. I don't even know who Hart is, I'm assuming some got that Magic's son got on the team tbh. Their offer is straight trash
It’s Robby Hart, the wedding singer bruh.

Lol. The only positive from last season you're eager to part with? As a spurfan, he should be the last one you want to see walk out the door right now, given what Kawhi is doing.

Unless we initiate deconstruct mode, and go full rebuild, all that nonsense. If Kawhi goes and we can get in a solid free agent with the money we would have. Plus hopefully score a really good draft pick and other pieces, we can be even more compe ive than we were last season.

I expect big things from White and Murray next year also.

    Suns fan chimes in

"If we trade the #1 pick, Booker or JJ for a year of Kawhi (if he actually feels like playing) I will literally buy a pitchfork and a torch and take to the streets."

As if kawhi wouldn't automatically be the best player they've had in years.
