    Stands to reason to ask now. His quotes came out just days before all this mess. Did he know something and stay hush-hush or was he really in the dark that much? Hadn't seen this discussed yet (sorry if I missed it and this is an over-post)

    Why would he have actually known anything?

    Kawhi doesn't talk to anybody or have any NBA friends from everything we have heard about him..it's not like he's making his own decisions, either

    Green, Parker and Manu are the only Spurs who ever say anything..Manu and TP are way too honest all the time

    Kawhi probably didn’t even know the plan. His camp leaked the info to the 5 press outlets, not him. Kawhi was probably in the gym shooting jumpers at the time. Uncle Dennis took over control of Kawhi’s decision-making a long time ago.

    I attribute that to them being Euros. Euros tend to be straight up more honest than Americans.

    Manu is of Italian descent. His grand parents are Italians. He also has dual citizenship with Argentina and Italy. He has pretty much embraced the European culture.
