These speculations are dumb. Under modern rules, any le team from '99-'10 gets annihilated by the Warriors. Teams are built per the era, and in those days, the rules favored size, rebounding, and interior defense. '01 Lakers are also severely over-matched on the perimeter, even if you were to play under '01 rules. Shaq would likely be unstoppable on offense, but he would get p-n-r'ed to death on defense (although under '01 rules, the p-n-r wouldn't be as effective). And

The 2018 Rockets got physical with these Dubs and were a CP0 hamstring away from taking them out in 6. Shaq and Kobe were both physically imposing more so than these Rockets. It wouldn't be pretty. 2001 Lakers in 5 at the most.

son golden state wouldn't be able to stay on the floor with shaq, they have the personnel for neither post defense nor doubling a strong big .. not even talking shaq level. Shaq would just clog the lane and live with their 3s while gs would be in the bonus in under 5 minutes. Playing in the bonus that much it doesn't even matter who plays with shaq, they'd just parade at the ft line.
