Well, if Lebron were to come to San Antonio, in my opinion, it will be to extend his career and win more les. Thus, we need to offer both young and older players. LaMarcus, Rudy, Tony, Pau, and Patty don't fit the bill. We need young players and DJ is great but we need more talent. Maybe Doncic or a high draft pick.

Anyone know if the news of his son choosing to play at the HS in LA was confirmed? I'd say if his son is playing in LA then he's 100% there as well.

LeBron probably part of the plan to get Kawhi to LA via a trade.

Lebron can still come here if he really wanted to play for the Spurs and Pop
Will have salary cap and can bring talents to surround him. I still believe Kawhi is a system player in a great system and is replaceable. Bruce Bowen was not a top 2-3 player, but was a great defensive player guarding the best player day in and out, Kobe, Nowitzki, Allen. It’s up to Pops/RC to find the best player combinations and will be back on the hunt.

Were you posting that you agreed with Durant when he said Kawhi was a system player? IMO Kawhi is not a system player, the dude has gotten better each season (that he played), and wasn't just slotted into a role, he grew to be the go-to-guy. Also Bowen was not a go-to other than at defense which Kawhi is 2x the defender he was.

I don't deny that Kawhi is a great player. He can prove himself once he gets to the Clippers.

But he's a great system player?

"Indubitably" role in HEB commercials could be yours.
Hilarious! I can just see LeBron's exploding head gesture.

Exactly! LeBron was never coming here. But Kawhi's (presumed) departure takes all the pressure off Poop. Now he can sit down with LeBron for a respectable length of time, share a bottle of good wine and commiserate before shaking hands and heading off in different (literal and symbolic) directions.
