No it won't. Depends on what package of draft picks and players the spurs get back. It can turn out great for the Spurs.
dejaun blair/mailk rose/george hill leaving the spurs was devastating to san antonio fans kawhi leaving will have a similar impact

Rascal the voice of reason? What happened to you? lol
I want Mikal Bridges on the Spurs.
Yeah, Blair leaving was really impactful. It made us win the championship.
It hurts more when a player betrays a team. Kawhi's group planned it all along, it was all in blue print. He's just using Parker comments as an excuse to justify why he is leaving the Spurs. I think, this will be the first time Spurs fans will be booing a former Spurs when its time for his new team to visit at&t center.
It should not go unnoticed that the hit the fan when we retired the ginger mamba. Some guys are just glue guys you don't miss until they're gone
Rose leaving brought in Nazr, which helped bring us 2005.
Hill leaving brought us Leonard, which helped bring us 2014.
Blair leaving was just, well...Blair leaving. Thanks for getting suspended when playing for the Mavericks.
Blair leaving was hurtful to local Whataburger sales.
That was the only impact he had on the community.
Yer Red Mamba was a champion Spur iden y.
+ 100000
I remember the losses of Gervin, Robertson and Strickland (yep) stinging a lot too. Oh well, if the guy wants out trade him but on our terms. Otherwise sit his ass for a year.
No one gave a about any of those.
Gervin?
Rodman getting traded for nothing should hurt too.
Blair leaving impacted Whataburger’s profit and loss financial statements.
Most bizarre thread ever.
Next up, a thread on how Daye, Quinn, Jeffers, and Errors leaving completely ed the Spurs.
to be fair blair was pretty fun for about 2 years
but never forget the blair/bonner turd towers
Rodman on the bench with his shoes off during the playoffs killed that sentiment.
DA was probably the best dunker the Spurs had in the Duncan era. Some could argue Manu was better but for me DA was the best.
With all this going on now, I think of this piece of too.
I hope Kawhi does go and flops like this piece of did. I'd like nothing more than that and maybe even seeing Uncle Dennis broke and busted up.
Those other guys left or were let go. At the very least, they didn't go scorched earth and try to burn down everything the franchise stood for and severely tarnish the organizations reputation and make them look so bad on the way out.
