I don't think Lonnie Walker could drop to the Spurs.

If they want Doncic, it's because they think the Spurs want Doncic too.
The Clippers' interest in moving up for Doncic predates Kawhi's trade demand. Doncic is the type of player West loves. Don't see them pulling out all the stops to trade up for Doncic only to turn around and trade him for Kawhi, and frankly, I'd be pissed if they did.

Teams have been calling about Kawhi for almost a year at this point. Jerry's no fool. He knows Kawhi's better than Doncic will ever be.

Maybe, but there's too many variables to know for sure: how Doncic develops in the NBA, how serious Kawhi's injury is and how it affects his career going forward. Plus, Doncic is cheaper, under team control for longer than one season, fits better with the Clippers' present timeline, and doesn't come with the drama of Uncle Dennis and the "group."

It would be a franchise-ruining disaster to trade Doncic for Kawhi, only to watch Kawhi sign with the Lakers after this upcoming season. How can we be sure that Kawhi wouldn't pull some like that when he's quitting on his current team right now?

Yeah but West is under pressure and just like Magic I am sure he is going to go all out for Kawhi, George, and LeBron.

I am almost 100% sure that Magic and West have had conversations with Uncle Festers camp which include Dr. info.

So much for the agreement by the media to not spoil picks this year.

I’m not anticipating we’ll see that player actually in a Spurs jersey.

I like how 4 doesn't have a team next to it.

Alright, whose got some second round hopes?

Like some in the Think Tank, I'm all aboard the Yuta Watanabe express.

But I also guess that Ray Spalding or Jevon Carter might be useful inactive list players

    Celtics get kawhi
Spurs get brown, #4, sac 1st 2019, parsons
Memphis get a their own 1st back next year

    Do we take that?

Yes, I know we probably have to move one contract to create space to take parsons.

Am I the only one who doesn't think Musa is that bad of a prospect? He's a nice scorer. I could see him developing into a great sixth man somewhere.
I don't think he's a bad prospect. I just think there are several options that will be better at #18. Now, if we end up with #25 it makes more sense.

Absolutely. And take Bamba at 4. No way this would ever happen though.

Problem is Memphis apparently wants to stay in the lottery, just moving down and shedding Parsons.

Memphis accomplishes moving Parsons but their owner expects for them to be a 50 game winner, If true, then they are moving number 4 this year for number 25ish next year just to move Parsons. Memphis would probably have to get our 18th pick to make this work.

Otherwise, actually a pretty good trade idea that doesn't seem so far fetched.

I think we would take that in a ing heartbeat, Brown plus the 4th pick and a possible top 5 pick next year is great return.

I don't see anyway they can trade down and stay in the lottery this year if they are shedding Parsons and not taking back salary. Now, if they are willing to take back Gallo then maybe...

The Spurs throwing them the 18th pick would make your trade much more viable. They at least get a good pick and shed Parsons. Spurs get Brown plus 2 top 5 picks and Boston gets Kawhi

I think the Memphis pick next year could be especially valuable to them considering they would have some say so over how high it it. That said, I would probably include our 18 if it got it done.
