Some would say that deleting 30,000 emails and hiring a professional to bleach her hard drive after receiving a subpoena for the emails would qualify as obstruction of justice.

At the least I think it was incredible arrogance that probably cost her the presidency. In a similar situation a normal person not running for president would have probably been charged.

The time line was clear. She received the subpoena on March 1 and had the emails and computer wiped three weeks later.

There's no proof it was evidence. The subpoena was for relevant emails. The ones her people deleted were claimed to be personal.

There is a statute that applies to obstruction of congressional proceedings, but again -- you have to prove the destroyed emails were actually evidence that was subpoenaed and that she knew they were relevant to the investigation. They didn't demand every single email so they could rummage through them all and decide what was relevant to their investigation; rather the subpoena was for emails relevant to the Benghazi investigation. They left the sorting up to her, which she delegated to others.
