According to Givony, Spurs had Walker ranked in their top 10. Also, Hawks were in pursuit, in discussions to trade up to 17, but when Charania leaked that the Bucks were selecting DiVincenzo, they pulled out, knowing they were guaranteed either Walker or Huerter and were comfortable enough with the latter to not surrender an additional asset.

Is number 4 available? I thought Derrick White had number 4? Has he changed numbers?

One thing I found out while watching him play this year is that he plays with a lot of emotion. Let's see how Pop handles that cause some players need that emotion to play at the level they play at. Excited to see how he does but one thing he needs to stop posting vids on Youtube cause Pop will check his ass real quick on that.

I think he’s going to roll with #15, his old AAU number, since #4 is already taken.

I'm sure the vets will tell him real quick to tone it down after a dunk or he'll suffer the wrath of Pop's doghouse, tbh.

Probably one of the better drafts the Spurs have had.

    This answer was tellling

Jeff: Let's talk about the Spurs now. Who is the one guy you are looking forward to playing with?

Lonnie: LaMarcus Aldridge and (Dejounte) Murray. Definitely one of those other guys. I actually watched a lot of his (Murray's) tapes and everything ... pretty much the entire team! It's a privilege to play with the team and have a coach (Gregg Popovich) like that.

How do we know Spurs did not have Divicenzo ahead of Walker? Divicenzo was a better fit but Walker looks good too. Divicenzo has a higher vertical than Walker and looked like a guy with better handles and fluidity. Reminded me of a Jeremy Lin whom would be a perfect pg for the Spurs too.

Wow no mention of Kawhi? Even the rookie knows where to throw shade.
