How do we know Spurs did not have Divicenzo ahead of Walker? Divicenzo was a better fit but Walker looks good too. Divicenzo has a higher vertical than Walker and looked like a guy with better handles and fluidity. Reminded me of a Jeremy Lin whom would be a perfect pg for the Spurs too.
Walker was in the Spurs top ten per RC so he was definitely ahead of Dante.

Just watched a bunch of YouTube vids of him. I’m loving this pick!! This kid is tenacious and is crafty as around the rim, with a pretty good looking jump shot that can only improve. I haven’t been this excited in a draft pick in a long time.

It’s worth noting the Spurs have nine guards excluding Hilliard and including Ginobili, should he choose to stay. Five of them are 6’4 or under, even excluding Lonnie’s exaggerated height at 6’5 (looks more like 6’2). One of them will probably go. Parker, Forbes, and Paul are most expendable in ascending order. Wonder which one leaves or gets dealt.

He is extremely raw. I hope I'm wrong but until he starts getting a better rhythm to his game, he is a major injury to himself waiting to happen. He may not like it but I'm sure Pop is going to make him slow it down to a crawl.

LOL. He looks like a 3-4 year vet compared to Kawhi, who could barely dribble.

I'm talking purely from a injury prone standpoint. Guys who jump like this always seem to get torn acls and meniscuses. Like I said I hope I'm wrong.

    The hair makes him 6’9.

It's okay, Pop will only let him take layups anyways so he should be fine.
