MVP has become a team award and the best player doesn't always win. Lebron was the better player and Harden had more help. Similar to when Nash won MVP over Kobe the year Kobe averaged 35 for the season and 44 points for an entire month.

Right. Maybe he would have been more deserving if he sat out a full year needing his uncle's permission to play.

Talk about having nothing to say in response, so you resort to bringing a totally irrelevant point to back-up Harden case ..

Lol it's not. Spurfan was campaigning pretty hard these last few years for Leonard for MVP. I wonder what changed.

You didn't answer the question. Will you still be a LeBron rider if he goes to the Lakers?

Rodman was born 20 years late. Would be perfect for today’s cross dressing, back-stabbing nba.

    Congrats indeed.
    But third?
I see a case the past two years but not sure about third.
And no defending that blouse ... It's like the Chapelle skit with Charlie Murphy (RIP) "what you angry about you know where you got that shirt from and it sure as wasn't from the men's department!"

I liked Shaq and MVPau, but I still didn't root for them when they were on the Lakers. It would be the same thing with LeBron.

The only one looking silly in this thread is you, arguing that a player who deserves zero MVPs really should have won three.

Is anyone campaigning for him this year, re ? You act like we were supposed to know years ago that he would turn into Kawhitter.

Harden probably doesn't win it this year if he already has one and he certainly wouldn't ever get past two. Especially since he has yet to have any truly legendary playoff performances. LeGOAT has been the clear cut best player for the past decade and they stopped giving it to him at some point.

Again who cares about attire? This flamboyant ensemble doesn't change how good Kobe was. Didn't expect you to fall into that trap Killa.

And yes third possible. Last year an argument. and 2014-2015.

Votes said he deserved it. It's a shame this affects you personally.

Votes also gave the MVP to Nash over Shaq in '05 and LeBron in '06. Votes gave the MVP to Derrick Rose over LeBron and Dwight in 2011.

At this point, it's a fluke when the voters actually make the correct decision, like they did last year.

Right. Somehow triple doubles made his team no better.

33-9 last year when Westbrook recorded a triple double. 13-25 when he didn't. Yes, Westbrook's triple doubles did elevate what was otherwise a garbage team.
