".....bleh bleh that Ivy League School. ......bleh bleh the very rich and poor going to the Ivies...."

You're a disingenuous asshole. The lol stands.
I've been called worse on this board, and yes, I do know that Harvard is an Ivy League school. I am not into prestige, name-brand anything - I'm into the best constrained by what I can afford - meaning good value (with consideration to fit/needs of each child).

Nope - not where my child is concerned. I couldn't be more pleased. Fantastic Christian friends, excellent education and onward to a great job.

BTW, is there any more confusing highway than Austin's - there's an exit every half mile, it seems. I was so happy to get back to Miami's (what I thought) badly designed roads.

That liberalism is probably limited in science/math classes. Besides, she's been well trained (to me) - indoctrinated (to you) - all those years homeschooling.

"trained" is even worse. It's a child, not a dog.

I pay more than enough taxes. Every time I take risk with my money, I think - and the government gets x% of this. Not to mention property taxes on my home and rental but (I know - my choice but more funds for others) not using the public schools by home schooling.

Just following the New Testament - train up a child - and all that. Maybe if more parents spend more time training, we wouldn't have so many problems today.

    You're not into prestige...

....unless you're whining about middle class kids that can't get into Ivy league schools

......unless that school is "liberal" Harvard.....which is Ivy league

......so you're sending kid to UT.....which is liberal.

You are basically relying on governments for just about everything in your life. I don't blame you for accepting the help, but it's funny you won't acknowledge it.

That's the problem with liberal thought - they make you think that you rely on government for everything when it's really the government that relies on our tax dollars.

Yes, the government takes in money from everyone and gives it back to people like you in greater concentrations. You just keep going back to the beast for handout after handout. I don't blame you.

Am I not being clear - their KIDS are who your kids will be competing with (with a much better story, being first generation going to college and very low income).
So those kids who work their ass off to get into to Harvard don’t deserve it because of their parents? Do you really think a lazy freeloader would work hard enough to even get into an Ivy League school? Well, besides Donald Trump I mean.

LOL - go on thinking that the government gives money back to "people like me in greater concentrations." What a joke.

Some salary and benefits - I earned $5k more 22 years ago than I do now. I'm not exactly doing this for the money - it's what keeps me from wasting my time arguing with you guys like I shouldn't be doing on my day off today. Believe me, they get more from me than I get from them. My PM keeps asking me how long I'm gonna work for - lol - my answer is that I take this job one day at a time.
